“One of my favorite locations for a great burger. Food is super cheap and good quality. Cheeseburger is one of the best. Make sure to add caramelized onions and chilis to elevate it further. Staff is kind and respectful. Location has been historically clean.Drive through is pretty long, the location is quite popular. It’s been worth it to go eat inside since you wind up waiting either way.Potatoes are fresh cut and right out of the fryer. Eat them fast before they get hard! Shakes are good.“
“Marie H was a pleasure and made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us throughout our meal. Her helper Arturo was very friendly and he made sure our glasses were always full. The food here is great, we’ve been twice during our stay. Once for dinner and again this morning for breakfast. They have a wide variety of food to choose from and we were not disappointed.“
“Me and my wife were visiting Reno for the weekend and we ran across this home looking restaurant. The hostess was very nice and welcoming. I ordered the seafood omelet which was very very delicious. The cooks are very good. The food was great! If I'm ever back in Reno I will definitely have my breakfast @ The Stone House Cafe.“
“Pricey but very good. The sole piccatta is a good portion with the requisite piccatta lemon capers sauce over a bed of pasta. It was served with roasted seasonal vegetables. I recommend it. Apparently it's very popular and I can understand why.The service is well above average and the vibe of the place is mature and professional.Last, I enjoyed the also popular raspberry bundt cake with buttercream frosting for dessert which was rich and should be shared.“
“We had a late breakfast here (around 10amish) during the week and it was great! Very lively diner/bar with friendly staff. Their online menu already has great options but there is a "secret" breakfast menu you get at the table with even more!If you're looking for a local alternative to a Black Bear Diner I'd really recommend coming here :)“
“Atmosphere wise feels clean and the regulars are very inclusive and friendly.I sat at the bar and they’re very attentive. Especially the lady that was there when I ate there. The food was pretty good good and the meatballs were something people tended to order around me. I agree.I’m impressed with how attentive this establishment is actually. I understand now how they’re one of the best and recommended places I’ve been to.“
“We love Twisted Fork for lunch. The food is excellent and never disappoints. Today I enjoyed the salad special -- blackened prawns, blackberries, strawberries, goat cheese, greens, red onion, house-made corn bread croutons, honey-mustard viniagrette. So good with sauvignon blanc! Husband had the parmesan turkey melt and the New England Clam Chowder -- one of the best chowders we've found in Reno (CT transplants). Sit in the bar and engage with Ashley. She's the best bartender/server we've met in Reno.“
“This is my favorite breakfast spot. You have great service. Aaaaammmmazing food with huge portions. The French toast and Relleno Benedict was so frigging good! I highly recommend going here if you are anywhere near any of the Pegg locations.“
“Visiting here from Colorado for my Grandaughters competition. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted right away by a really nice man, (possibly owner/manager. The young lady Mariella was our Waitress. The food was fresh and delicious, service, cleanliness…atmosphere was calm, 110%. Now we can brag to anyone that plans on visiting Reno. Thank you!! ??❤️ ☀️God bless!!“
“BLT Extraordinaire! BLT gourmet! BLT exceptional! Did I mention the BLT? OMG! There are other things other menu, but I plan to binge on their BLT's until maybe the end of time! The B is so delicious and the baguette that they put it on tastes like it just came out of the oven! We highly recommend!“
“Even though I’ve been a life long Reno/Sparks native, I’ve never been to Bricks and this last weekend we went. WOW!!! What a great restaurant. Service was top notch and the food spectacular. I really can’t believe I’ve missed out for all these years. I had the filet and it was done beautifully.“
“We had come to this restaurant under it's previous name, so when it changed ownership we decided to come back and try out the new business. We ordered brunch for take out on the weekend. Aesthetic wise everything looks the same as it previously did. It's not a huge restaurant but can probably accommodate a couple of larger groups. The food was tasty overall, nothing to complain about but maybe also nothing that entirely knocked our socks off. But just a good standard breakfast option. Unfortunately they were having issues with their point of sale system while they were there and that was causing things to be a little backed up at the counter. We also ended up being double charged so we had to fix that with the cc company, however I'm sure they'll work out those issues quickly.“
“Cheese Board has been a Reno mainstay for a long time, and revisiting recently reminded me why. The quiche-of-the-day was very good, and if it wasn't quite as amazing as their quiche Lorraine, the butternut squash soup was pretty off-the-charts, so it was a wash. The restaurant itself remains accessible, and is a great upscale but casual spot for an excellent lunch. I'll be going back soon on a day they're serving the quiche Lorraine!“
“Smith and River was a very pleasant surprise. The information I found online did not do this place justice. I took my date here and expected a very simple place with a somewhat noisy atmosphere. I was proven wrong and in the most wonderful of ways. To start: Matthew, our server, was an amazing person to have been able to interact with. He was hilarious, he was passionate, he knew what he was talking about in every conversation, and was overall a treat. Secondly, the food was amazing. Up until this night, I have never tried scallops. After inquiring about the catch of the day, I was pleasantly surprised and extremely satisfied with how delicious they were. Finally, the environment was amazing. It felt very private and personal with my date and I couldn't have enjoyed it more.Cheers to this place.“
“This is a fun brunch place. I was in Reno for the weekend and ate here twice. Their corned beef hash weekend brunch is amazing. So savory. I had a Bloody Mary one morning. It was good not great. The food compensated. Service was very friendly and fast both times. If you go for weekend brunch and arrive around 10 expect to wait. This place gets busy, but for good reason.“
“It's good. The service is consistent and friendly. The prices are reasonable and the menu is robust. I enjoyed a cup of New England clam chowder which was quite good, followed by a fairly standard grilled chicken sandwich. Cans of soft drinks are $2 each and they have both Coke and Pepsi - smart! The vibe of the place is old school and I love it.“
“One of the best burgers in Reno, bar none. Perfectly portioned hand made patty, roasted bun, gooey cheese, and a delicious house sauce. The Frenchie burger is fantastic, too, as is the green chile burger. Start off with some shishitos, portobello fries, or yuzu BBQ pork belly. Their cocktails are well made and refreshing, and they have a small, but stellar wine selection.“
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences at Land Ocean! I have been twice, once for lunch and another time for brunch. The food and drinks are great and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and come back soon! ☺️“
“My husband broke his neck snowboarding, and we have been in the renown hospital for 11 days. It is hilarious and disturbing to me that the hospital feeds patients poison while also helping them heal. We have been eating every meal at Great Full Gardens for nearly 2 weeks. I cannot thank them enough. Everything is delicious, the service is spectacular, thank you so much. We will not forget your important part in this chapter of our lives. “
“Best food in town! Only wish they were open past 2pm. My favorite thing on the menu is your big fat Greek omelette. I can’t find a better Greek omelette in town anywhere! The only thing I would change about it is using organic spinach. Spinach is the number one pesticide ridden vegetable!“
“We stopped in for a quick bite and a beer and had a great time! This brewery is in a great location on the outskirts of midtown with a small lot for parking. The food was great too, the burger was HUGE. The buzzed bee honey ale was a great lighter beer. Even on a Tuesday evening the place was quite full and lovely! My only gripe was that twice in the same meal our server forgot about two separate beer orders - otherwise service was good, and the food came out fast!“
“I went here with coworkers for a business lunch. Nice vibe when walking in, and you seat yourself. We got a couple of tables in the corner and pushed them together for our group of 9. Service was friendly and quick and the food was great. We ordered mozzarella sticks and potstickers for apps, and both were delicious. I ordered the Ciabatta Melt with Tomato Bisque which was very good. Nice portion sizes as well.“
“I tried this place out for the first time. It was delicious. I love a good Chicago style hotdog, and Bam! Dog did it justice. The tots were good too. Overall I'm happy with my quick lunchtime experience. I'll definitely come back.“
“Excellent food for reasonable prices! Love the four course option (the only option) and this is the type of place you could come once a month for dinner with your “other” or a group of friends. Service is good and chef is super friendly, visiting with guests as time allows. Each course was delicious (salad, soup, entree, dessert) and there’s no way to leave there and not be full.“
“I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger to go and was pleasantly surprised!! The service was very nice and on point, they took the perfect amount of time to make my food too, I could tell it was being made with love but it was still made at a good pace! the burger was very very good. The ingredients were top quality! The taste was very good too! I couldn’t finish it however!!! But the best thing about my meal was the French fries and ranch…. Absolute FIRE!!! Way to go Archie’s chefs!“
“I don’t write many review's though; Black Bear is worth it!!! This little place is a gem, I’ve been here twice and both times same experience, it’s starts from the greet, from management and mostly the servers and service. It is such a fun environment . We had the best conversations with Roxanne, she makes the experience… I haven’t even touched on the food.,.The waffles are a MUST!!! The bacon ? the biscuits and gravy…. Yummmmmmmm!!!! The pancakes ? are a WOWZER!!! I know, it’s not a word but, wow!!! Sweet cream pancake batter!!!!!! ? delicious!!! Again….. let’s talk bacon!!!!’ “Chefs kiss” ?“
“Victoria was bussing it down at pegs ham and eggs today! Her service was so fast and good, very polite and sweet girl! The food was delicious! I got biscuits and gravy and eggs and my friend got the waffle. The biscuits and gravy was very good but the biscuit was a little hard. The waffle was so delicious as well, not too sweet and very fluffy! Would recommend going!“
“Went to new place on Keystone. Super busy but staff friendly, efficient and fast. Their food is good & place was clean. I always enjoy their food.Parking: Though a lot of parking spaces it's a very busy place so you can possibly have to search for a place to park if dining in.“
“The food was great, quite noisy but that was due to so many people trying to take advantage of the great meal as the food is perfect, the eggs benedict perfect, and not to mention the hottest looking lady waitresses around without a doubt! I definitely plan to visit the cup again it had been my second time, again the most beautiful waitress ladies in Reno!“
“Food was great. Loved the ambience. My host was very nice and knowledgeable.I ordered one of their chicken sandwiches it was at its best. Perfectly cooked crispy on the outside, juicy inside. The tater tots were very complementing as well.Pricey for students though!“
“Fun experience with lots of interesting decor on the walls and ceiling! Large portions: My friend and I split a Cobb salad and ordered a side of garlic bread, and we couldn't eat it all (believe me, we tried!). We will definitely go again.“
“Very quaint little place, service was a bit slower than expected, but the staff was very nice. Food was decent and well priced. The walls are adorned with previous visitors from all over which I find a very nice addition to the atmosphere and a very good conversation starter as to guessing the mood of the people and how in the world did they get up there moments. I do recommend this establishment and I would return.“
“Such a cozy space!! Everyone was very kind and made you feel like family! The food was amazing! I wish I had a second stomach or three to be able to try other dishes! If you’re close by, go! Your taste buds and tummy will thank you!Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere! Many families with younger children present during our meal“
“I finally tried the Lucky Beaver after 15+ years of living in Reno. It was incredible! I had originally thought it was more bar than restaurant, but I was wrong. Lucky Beaver had incredible service, huge menu, delicious food, clean environment! Our server, Suzy, was an angel! We had ahi tuna appetizer, burgers, and beignets to go!“
“Was working nearby and was drawn in by the "crack chicken". I will be back to further assess this establishment as I was blown away by the food, service, value, and quantity. Crack bento box filled me up for less than what you'd pay at a drive thru. Excellent, prompt, polite service. I'm addicted to the crack chicken now. All it took was one taste and it's on your mind for a while.“
“First time here. Brought friends from out of town and wanted to try something new. Kevin, our server was extraordinary. Professional, pleasant, entertaining and just attentive enough. Let me borrow his glasses to read the menu as I had left mine at home. Made for a most pleasant evening.“
“Wow!! We checked into the online waiting list before we left the house. Got there and waited 10 minutes and were seated. Our waitress, Nicole, was phenomenal. She (and the restaurant) was super busy and was able to stay focused and attentive as if we were at her house.“
“Love having Burger Me as a local option for a quick, yummy meal. Hamburgers are honestly great. My favorite is the Gyro burger, it’s just perfect. We usually order ahead online since it does take longer than a cheap fast food place, but we have done the drive through and it’s not too bad.“
“First time at Laughing Planet. I showed up just as they were opening and the server on duty welcomed me. She was so pleasant and helpful with everything. I decided on an herbal ice tea and the Thai mini burrito. Both were awesome and modestly priced. I picked up a resolution card too since I plan on coming back for more.“
“Stopped by this place after a beautiful and highly recommended drive from Eugene Oregon to Reno Nevada. What a find! Laid back cool vibe to start with. Sat at the bar...Great selection of Bourbons and Tequilas by the way.Turns out the bar tender that night was the owner Brent. In the short time I was there it became apparent that Brent is extremely passionate about every aspect of this restaurant. Brent knows his bourbons and tequilas, and seems to be a tequila connoisseur.I had the Elk Chop which resembled a Tomahawk Steak. Cooked to perfection, served with asparagus and as a bonus came with a liberal shot of bourbon neat. This will be a regular stop between Oregon and Nevada in the future.I highly recommend if ever in the Reno Area.“
“Love this local pub! Stacy handled the lunch crowd, solo, like a pro! Daily special, Meatloaf sandwich had flavor, awesome texture and the perfect little kick of heat! Great pours, awesome prices, yummy food, come on what more could one ask!? If I were a local this would be my hang and I wouldn't want the word to get out just how awesome Shenanigan's feels! If you're from out of town or a local, you've found your Cheers in Shenanigan's!“
“We love coming to this restaurant for lunch. Been here several times. Great menu great food never a problem Dinner was a completely different experience by a waitress that needs to learn MORE etiquette and experience. Service from our waitress was absolutely horrible. Husband ordered the salmon and received cod -order came out completely wrong. He doesn't even like cod. Plus Cod was cold, old and tasteless. He ate 1 small piece and left the rest. Very disappointed. We were credited $4 I asked for my salad dressing on the side -that didn't happen. I didn't say anything I just didn't eat it. It was drenched. We barely finished eating- she gave us the bill-stood by our table and wanted payment now. We both felt like we were being rushed. I told her to give me a few minutes but she waited at our table side and handed me the machine to put my card in which I didn't even have out yet. I set my coffee down to get out my cc because She wanted payment now so she didn't have to return back to our table. This waitress needs more training! ** Owner has responded“
“I got the Greek salad which comes with romaine lettuce, Kalamata olives, tomatoes, peppers, peperoncini, feta cheese and a lemon vinaigrette. The salad was a good size and filled me up quickly. Staff was extremely friendly, greeted as soon as I sat down by the bartender, the waitress came shortly after. Pricing was very fair considering the size of the plate!“
“Amazing experience. Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. Amazing drinks. Had a party of 3. We all asked for suggestions on drinks, and we all loved our drinks. I had the best steak I've had in my life. Their bison bolgonese is to die for. Every drink and dish that we ordered was perfect. 10/10 would recommend. One person in our party is gluten free and they have a full gluten free menu. You just have to askDietary restrictions: They have a whole gluten free menu“
“We've been visiting the Bighorn Tavern during our yearly visits to Reno. Nice place that is located away from the downtown area. Service is friendly. Food is good; portions are fair. Bar area is cramped. Restaurant area is more spacious. They have an outdoor patio area.“
“My wife and I were very surprised to find this little gem. She had the soup and salad, which she loved. I sampled her lentil soup which was rich and hearty. It came with a side of tasty cheese toast. I had the pastrami sandwich with onion rings. It was lean and a generous portion. She said she has found her new favorite place.“
“M3 has become one of my go-to lunch spots. Ty hey can get busy but the tables are decently spread out and the noise dissipates so you can hear reach other well. The menu is pretty broad, and will surely have something interesting for everyone I really like their salads! In addition to salads, they have a variety of sandwiches and other bites. I have always had friendly service at M3 and I'm able to dine and get out of the restaurant in a reasonable amount of time which is important for a lunch meeting. I will say that the restaurant has rather dim lighting, but I think it adds to the character and ambience of the space.“
“I am so so pleased with my experience here. We rented out the party space and it was BEYOND perfect for our celebration. They set up the tables the way we wanted it, made thoughtful recommendations on food types and quantities and provided stellar service (thanks, Tracy!). I would host gatherings here again and again. The food was also delish. Their starters and pizzas were really well done. Can’t wait to come back.“
“The first time I visited here, the place was jammed, large portions and the food was tasty. Plenty of staff to keep your drinks topped up. The service was excellent and it was clean. Plenty of variety on the menu to suit all tastes to include little bites. I will come back here !“
“Celebrated my birthday here. This is classy for being in a casino - fabric tablecloths and flowers and all that. The bread basket is warm and irresistible. We ordered Caesar salad (love the tiny cheese croutons!) and a house salad (loaded with artichoke hearts). For the main course, we had two equally amazing dishes - Veal Scaloppini (so tender and served with homemade fettuccine noodles - delicious!) and lobster risotto. We received a complimentary, strawberry shortcake for my birthday dessert. An absolutely perfect meal! Our server was very attentive and friendly. Can't wait to go back.“
