The Grille at Somersett

We don't usually go out for Valentine's Day because we find the prices high and the quality low. We decided to try the grill at Somersett golf club since they were having a special. I think we'll stay home next year. The New York strip steak were all served medium rare. I told the waitress I don't care for medium rare and wanted medium. We went for the Valentine's Day special. I have to tell you, I was disappointed. Friends said the beef they had eaten there recently was fantastic, but the New York strip served was not tender. They also cooked them all medium rare – my husband said his was more rare than medium rare. I told the waitress I didn't like medium rare and I wanted my medium. Always a pleasure to pop in and have a nice, relaxing meal at the Somersett Grille. The burger is my favorite in town, the meat is nicely seasoned and always cooked as ordered. It's served on a soft buttery bun that is lightly toasted. The nachos were a new try for us and they didn't disappoint.
