BEST SPOT in Reno hands down
My husband and I had a date night out and away from the kids for the first time in over 3 years. We had a concert and chose to stay the night at Renaissance. We chose The Shore simply for convenience but I’m so glad we decided to eat here. We had one of the best meal experiences we have EVER had. First off, our server Nia was AMAZING. The Shore is a popular restaurant in Reno, known for its amazing brunch. With a beautiful patio overlooking the Truckee River, the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing meal. The menu offers delicious options like Cesar Salad with shrimp, Benedict's, brioche french toast, and a Seafood Station with Oysters, Shrimp, Lobster, and Mini-Pokes. The service is top-notch, and the mimosa and happy hour deals are a hit. Visitors have enjoyed high-quality food at reasonable prices, with some dishes like flank steak and the burger standing out for their deliciousness. Guests seated outside next to the river found the setting awesome, despite occasional wind, and appreciated the great wine list. The restaurant’s location in a lovely hotel adds to the special feeling before dining. The Shore continues to be a favorite for many, offering a mix of brunch and dinner options that satisfy a variety of tastes. The food is outstanding, and the service is impeccable. Recently, some guests experienced waiting times, with one mentioning an hour wait for lukewarm food, but overall, the staff’s service remains excellent. The updated menu brings new options that are well-received, and the cozy, inviting atmosphere by the river remains a highlight. The outdoor seating, especially near the fire pit, adds to the relaxing experience. The Shore is especially loved for breakfast and mimosas, with attentive servers like Evelyn making guests feel welcome. The restaurant continues to be a special place for locals and visitors alike, offering a good mix of tasty dishes and a lovely setting.
