Rarely deal with rude servers but we served ourselves at this place and the servers(guy with patchy beard who looks like Ned from Ned’s declassified) somehow went out of their way to be jerks to us without even being loud or interacting with them. If you want to pay extra to serve yourself and be trashed on then this is the place

Came in on a Thursday evening. Cute little place. Has a massive screen perfect for watching the game and board games. Close to food and other bars. Service and drinks were great!:-)

We had been sitting on a gift card for The Village Well for way too long and FINALLY had the chance to check them out. We are bummed we waited so long because this place is great! The staff was friendly and the layout and decor was elevated, cozy and inviting. They had 30 self-serve taps available, including domestic and craft beer as well as wine. They also had a cocktail menu (full bar) and canned cocktails. There were several televisions (including a GIANT screen) and a gender neutral restroom. We were thrilled with their hospitality and our experience and cannot wait to go back! See reviews of our beers here:

Great place to watch the game, have some great drinks and hang out with friends and have some great conversations. Ambiance is a sports bar with open environment and big screens. The best part is the way that you serve yourself. You get a card that is tied to your credit card and you take that up and pour as much or as little beer as you want. The bartenders are friendly and can make you a mixed drink also.

Absolutely love this place! The beer selection is always unique and different. They rotate their kegs, so the selection is always different. The music and staff are wonderful. If you prefer the sound for any game the staff is happy to turn it on the main TV for you (which is the biggest TV in Reno). If beer is not your thing they have a full bar for cocktails as well. Definitely recommend!

I had a great time at this place during the craft made event at Rancharrah . The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the self service bar and the variety of beer, cider and seltzer they offered. I could also pick the size of glasses I wanted. It was very easy and convenient. The place had a lot of indoor and outdoor seating options as well.

I visited The Village Well on a Wednesday evening. When I first got there, around 5:30 PM, it wasn't very full, but a US Women's soccer game started at 6:00 PM and closer to 6:00, the place filled up. I love the self-pour concept, but I was not impressed with the tap options. There were a few mainstream beers and other craft beers, but the menu was overwhelmingly IPAs. I am hoping the tap list changes from time to time and am willing to give this place a second chance because the environment is very nice and it seems like the perfect place to watch a game or hang out with friends. There are also cocktails, but I didn't try those this time around.

A quick visit after a 10 hour road trip. Very nice TV.. biggest I have seen. Had one beer the American brown ale. Very bitter. Could not drink the entire pour in 25 minutes of sipping. Hostess offered to pour me something else, but I was running short on time. Left with an offer of another pour when I had time. Cool!

Pretty cool venue, with an open concept layout. Spacious, and not cramped at all on a regular or slow night. During the weekends tho, it does get packed with ppl standing in the way of the bar and the beer fountains against the wall. Would've been nice if they could at least rope-off the "beer wall" so patrons can go in and out easily to pour themselves a pint, instead of pushing their way thru ppl just standing around blocking the way.Definitely a great Happy Hour location or small company meet up.

First time here for an event on Tuesday...about 90 of us showed up!! What a unique format. They have 30 beers, wine and ciders on there self-serve tap wall (check out their website for the updated list). Just provide a credit card, get a card and take it to the taps. Charged by the ounce, this gives you an opportunity to try a number of beverages without having to wait for the bartender. They also have a decent cocktail bar, with friendly, attentive staff. Seating inside and out make this a great happy hour spot (there's ends at 5pm). You can also bring in outside food to go with your tasty beverage (even have a passthrough window to Armandos next door!).All in all, look forward to frequenting when in this part of town
