“Great environment great drinks and hands down the best meat lovers pizza with the white sauce and some of the best seafood chowder there is! Will definitely come back time and time again. The bartender was awesome and provided excellent service as well.“
“This is our favorite go to restaurant when we're visiting Southlake Tahoe. You have to drive a little bit out of the main town, but very worse the ambience service and excellent food. We have gone for breakfast, lunch and dinner and never been disappointed.“
“really nice preparations at this restaurant, pleasantly surprised in a positive way. I tried the Mix Veg pakoras, Samosa Chat, Chicken Tikka Masala curry with Naan & Paratha, all of them vere very flavorful, some of the best! I will definitely come back for more of the dishes they offer!“
“we were waiting for our food for kind of a while, and half of our party's food came out a whole 15 minutes before everyone else's. however, they gave us a discount as an apology for the wait, and when the food did come out, it was actually quite good. nice, comfy vibe inside too.“
“After visiting Tahoe for years and years I finally decided to check out Magic Fusion. Long story short, I can’t believe we waited so long. Robert Hall was fantastic and my wife and teen kids both had a blast. Don’t read anymore reviews…. Just treat yourself.“
“Fabulous find, real home made food that exceeds your expectations for a family diner! Staff is attentive and friendly. Coffee served with real cream and fresh squeezed orange juice was so good!We will be back!Kid-friendliness: Staff quick to offer high chairs or boosters“
“Had a good meal here. The best part was prices below $20. I had the chicken fried steak. The meat was a super soft texture and the hash browns were a bit charred but the flavors were good. My wife had the healthy omelette with turkey and mushrooms. We sat at the bar because the place was fairly full and we had no wait.“
“I came here with a group of 8 on a Saturday and had a wonderful dinner. The restaurant is on the smaller side but the food was exquisite. The restaurant is small and intimate, perfect for a gathering of close friends. It's nice to have conversation in a restaurant and be able to hear everyone. All the dished we ordered came out beautifully presented and tasted so good. Definitely my new favorite restaurant in tahoe!“
“Nice spot for lunch with a beer or cocktail. Great staff and the owner actively walks around the restaurant checking on her guests. She closed the blinds for us because she saw the sun shining in our eyes. The food was good, and the drinks were delicious. It's worth a visit in your in SLT.“
“Was crossing through town and was looking for something to eat. Went to another establishment but the vibe felt totally off so I finished my beer and decided on here. Best choice ever! Food was excellent, atmosphere was excellent and most importantly Jenny was awesome. Thank you Jenny!“
“Everyone was very friendly. I had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious. Everything was served right away and was hot. My son had the chicken and waffles. My son is super picky when it comes to food and he didn't enjoy his dish. Chicken wasn't very good. I think it was frozen pre cooked chicken. Sodas come in a huge glass which I loved. Over all great experience and great food. Will definitely be back to try other things!“
“Please check out Pretty Odd Wieners!!! Absolutely delicious and unique dogs. We got the reuben and elote dog. So flavorful and wonderful. And the BEST customer service. Bryan and Jill were so spectacular - they have earned lifetime loyal customers. This food truck will be on the list any time we come to Tahoe. Go!“
“Best service and food hands down. I'll go to the beaver but only because the taverns not open all the time. But if I could... the taverns menu never is boring or stagnant. Watching there kitchen work looks Ike a well orchestrated symphony. There friendly, helpful, and truly are great... there chef is amazing and talented beyond description. Iv been honestly holding back my review due to the fact I wanted to enjoy my hole I the wall discovery as long as I could, knowing full well they would be packed nearly every visit soon, and I was right. Go check em out. You will be upset only thst you havnt already.“
“If you like garlic bread... if you like fresh seafood... if you like fun drinks and good beer... do you like chocolate desserts? The staff is excellent and very accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone love what they had. The deck is great even on a windy wet night.“
“Heidi's has delicious food and excellent service! My family and I went here and ordered the little boy blue, the Matterhorn, the eggs Benedict plate, and the French toast. They were all really tasty! Their pancakes are sooooo fluffy and soft. The french toast was the best we ever had, and the eggs and bacon also were very good! The workers were very friendly, such as Rosaria and Elizabeth. Definitely coming again next time we visit South Lake Tahoe.“
“Stopped at Burger Me on the way out of Tahoe after I read the reviews here, glad we did! Burgers were delicious (Bison and Elk), so were the onion rings and garlic fries. Would definitely go back next time we’re in Tahoe. Workers were friendly and great customer service.“
“I haven't been to every restaurant in Lake Tahoe but I've been to a lot of them and Edgewood has to be the best. I got the steak duo and it was cooked to perfection. The server was attentive but not annoying and knew exactly the perfect time to refill water or check in. The view is picturesque and can't be beat.“
“Great breakfast place! The service is good from start (wait in the foyer or at the Free Bird Chai coffee place, which is in the same bldg) to finish. Our server was sweet, attentive, and fast, though she had a 6 top and two other tables besides us. The menu is large. My favorite is the Rösti, which my tablemate agreed has the PERFECT ratio of eggs (we ordered them poached) to hashbrowns and other ingredients. Delicious. The waffle... we sent ours back. It was soft and mushy and didn't have those deep pockets I love to see in a waffle. Our most truthful observation was that the free hotel breakfast waffles you get at middle range hotels are better than this one. But the pancakes we got to replace it were chef's kiss! Spongy, eggy, light, able to carry the whipped butter and warm syrup they were served with. Decor was kind of gas station ski cafe. We'll definitely come back here! The Kingsbury location is for some reason closed right now and we haven't tried the Keys location but this Bijou location is quite good.“
“Food was great, Kevin's service was on point, Alana's bar was impeccable but the manager Joeys support and contributions really put the experience over the top. Hard not to love the atmosphere and selection, always a highlight when we come through.“
“A Heavenly Village gem, The Loft is an intimate and vibey spot for dinner and drinks (which were both fantastic). My fiancé and I popped in to see the magic show featuring legendary magicians, Jinger and Kalin. The show was incredibly impressive and both appropriate and entertaining for young and adult audiences. The theatre layout is perfect for up-close magic and makes the crowd really feel involved in the show. The Loft regularly hosts top tier talent, including Murray the Magician, who we’ve previously seen perform—stellar tricks and comedic timing. Definitely recommend checking The Loft for a fun night out!“
“It’s been since before the lockdowns that I have been here. At the time, the owner was selling and opening a new restaurant in South Lake Tahoe near my home, but that fell through, so I was surprised to find him and his son still here.He makes his own fries, which are AMAZING, as is the coleslaw, and I’m a slaw snob.My next door neighbor had the Rueben and loved it. She’ll definitely come back with her family as will I.Please support this family owned business. You won’t be disappointed!“
“Genuinely, I would not have expected the Hilton, where I stayed to have a spot like BMBG. It was a spot that I went to for lunch when I arrived with my friends on the first day of our trip to Tahoe simply because it was convenient. Yet, my whole group kept going back for an after skiing snack and for their pretty impressive drinks. If you are staying in the Hilton, take advantage of having this spot in your hotel. If you are in the area, I'd say it's worth dropping in to try it! Also, go Dale, he is the best!“
“Excellent food and service. I've been here a lot; it's my go-to food in SLT. I love the Jamaican Jerk with tofu, so I get it every time I go. I crave this dish at home in Reno often. It's spicy! I tried the ribs, only a few bites, but they were fire! They also have Pliny the Elder on tap. :-) Service is good. Ambiance is awesome, especially when you sit by the fishies.“
“Classic neighborhood bar with great service, food and drink. We had a big group come through post proposal and the staff was awesome. We were a rambunctious crew but they handled us perfectly. Fish tank is so cool and a statement piece. Food is awesome, turkey tallac or the Ruben are a staple. Nice outdoor area for those hot Tahoe days and it's a must stop for apres ski when headed down Kingsbury.“
“I had a wonderful experience this evening. It is New Year's eve, and I knew they would be reserved all night. Regardless, I called ahead and asked if they could take a 1 top walk-in. They were able to grab a table for me.Due to them being reserved all night, I got a table at the Cocktail Corner. I originally ordered at the bar (as was communicated to me due to the full reservations). Though regardless, Jenna (a bartender), still gave me table service throughout my experience. The oysters were divine, and Jenna even ran next door to their sister restaurant to grab me some crackers for my oysters. The asparagus mushroom ravioli was so unique and delicious (I highly recommend). Lastly, I finished with the Citrus Olive Oil Strawberry Shortcake and was not disappointed.I would highly recommend this establishment, and I will definitely be back.“
“WOW a beautifully maintained house from the 1850’s that looks historically preserved at the same time the deco and property is updated to look fashionable. The music, staff, and FOOD was all superb. I thought I would be walking into a small town sandwich place ( which I also love) but this was a full 5star fine dining experience. Including reading the copy on the menu which was hilarious and entertaining. I suggest the French onion soup but everything we got was so good it makes me want to drive the distance from Reno next time I have out of state friends visit just to come again for dinner. Big yum.“
“The best breakfast ever Ruben and the current chef are amazing. I had a gluten-free roasted potatoes for breakfast and a veggie omelette with no dairy amazing salsa, amazing chef and love being an owner here and appreciate being an owner beautiful Christmas decorations a must see.Great, brunch great Lennar. Wonderful, anytime.Chef Antonio -awesomeClosed Wednesday and Thursday for economics and restocking“
“It was our first time in Lake Tahoe and after a day of driving we just wanted to get the kids fed and relax so we weren’t trying to be choosy. HOWEVER, I will choose this restaurant every time we visit now, the food was delicious, the prime rib French dip was amazing! Get it made the CASEYS WAY you won’t regret it. They had plenty of options for the kids and the waitress was so nice!“
