“I recently lost my husband at the beginning of the holiday weekend. Although she was not officially working Betsy answered my "desperate" message and walked me through everything for after the service on Tues.......when we arrived home everything was set up nicely and on time. The food was beyond amazing in taste as well as the quantity. The meatballs and sauce were so good the leftovers are frozen. “I just used 2shea catering (out of the Italian American community center venue) for my sister in law’s bridal shower this past weekend. Not only was the venue beautifully set up, the staff was exceptional and ensured that everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was fantastic. We chose items from the “garden party” menu and everything was delicious. Fan favorites: garbage breads, the cornbread Turkey sandwiches, the passed cucumber and Boursin cheese bites. “I'll always have a soft spot for Navona. My dining experience is always great - food is spot on every time even when they're totally slammed. They stay busy but the service is timely and the servers check up frequently to ensure I have all I need. Regularly I dine alone but all friends I've brought with me have enjoyed it - especially the pizza. The inside is cute and the decorations are interesting. I enjoy the lighting as it's not too overpowering which I am sensitive to. The owner is friendly and can be seen chatting with people who are regulars which just goes to show it has the homey, family feel, very personalized. The servers know my order because I consistently get the same thing and dine there so often which is not necessary but sweet. You won't be disappointed - try the pizza and if that's not for you then the bruschetta or focaccia with ricotta, they're all delicious. For dessert I recommend the chocolate mousse - very sweet and rich but totally worth it!“
“Stopped by from the airport-I got the eggplant parm sandwich and my BF got the Italian mix sub. Delicious! Great, friendly staff and lots to choose from. We also got the tortellini salad and a cannoli. Tables inside-cozy, local place. Will def be back!“
