Tried the chunks with their original seasoning, fries and a lemonade. Chunks were like eating rocks. They were dry and way over cooked, seasoning was good, what a shame. Fries are your run-of-the-mill GFS or Sysco sad and soggy, dry pieces of potato. The Ice water with lemon they call Lemonade was disappointing. I'm a big fan of fresh sqeezed lemonade bit to sell me a cup of this was disrespectful.

Loved talking to the two gentleman who were working in this cute hole-in-the-wall.The food does not live up to the reviews. The chicken sandwich was dry with a thin, overcooked piece of chicken. It would have been delicious if it was juicy. Sadly I won't have time to return during my trip for the corn fritters. Absolutely amazing. Great portion sizes.

I've gotten Chicken Joe's a couple times. I've tried their classic chicken, a wrap, onion rings and their bangin' bites, and all of them have been pretty tasty. However, most recently, my fiancé added a side of mac & cheese to our order ... and it was without a doubt the worst that either of us had ever tasted, from anywhere. The pasta was practically hard from being so undercooked, and the "cheese" was vile. I mean, I can enjoy just Kraft mac & cheese if the time is right, but this was awful even compared to that, let alone homemade mac & cheese. Anyway that's now a core memory. Otherwise, I've enjoyed their food, and they're always pretty speedy.

I love chicken joes. But since they don’t deliver to Colonie I’m giving one star!! I can’t ever get it unless I take 2 buses and then by the time I get home it’s ice cold. Start delivering to more areas!!! So you can get more business for people who don’t drive or can’t drive

the quality is just not there anymore. the breakfast menu has been torn to pieces. they didn’t follow the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!” fan favorites have been taken on an off the menu leaving loyal returning customers in question.the staff however are magnificent. at times i do understand it is busy and probably faces no competition within the area. some are always willing to take the extra step and some just don’t want to be there. it is a simple hit or miss.i love this place and i do hope to return as i always do when i am in albany. i hope it reach it hidden gem status is once was.god bless chicken joes

Chicken joes used to have one of the best fries in albany. For whatever reason, they changed to these cheap fries that taste like the ones you buy in the freezer section at the store.

The food slaps 10/10 it's absolutely delicious, the staff is always friendly and kind, only thing is my order is never right. I just ordered the dane sub on mealeo, it charged me $1.00 to take off the ranch and sub honey mustard, and then I got home and the thing is slathered in ranch. The time before same thing, tried switching a sauce on a chicken sandwich and I got no sauce instead. The time before we got a mac n cheese bites when we ordered the potato cones. I've seen all the receipts and/or have ordered it on an app so that it is clearly written out, they just do not do changes or substitutions no matter what it written down. Always a surprise at chicken Joe's lolz but like I said it is delicious and I'll keep spinning the wheel, whatchu gunna do for good food ??

Place is filthy, unhygenic and a sulken husk of what 'Chicken Joes' once was.You're doing a disservice to the community, potentially getting them sick and and also robbing kids during a time of economic hardship.What kind of goofy just destroys their reputation when they have such a strong brand presence in a small city. Could have expanded if they didnt have the business sense of a toddler. Downhill onward!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheel chair ramp so the disabled can get scammed too!

decent, but overpriced; Whereas the food is good, there really aren't any affordable options minimum order is 6 wings. Honestly don't bother I watched a homeless guy go in with 20$ came out ate the 20$ disappointing order of chicken said, 'This is Garbage' and then proceeded to kick the window on the front door; the glass cracked. Clearly it wasn't good enough in his opinion.

This place used to be amazing when I went to college in the area 10-7 years ago. Unfortunately they have gone off the rails. The fries were completely different (soggy, not crunchy), and the wrap didn't have dressing in it when it should have, so it was super dry. Additionally, a co-worker tried to order catering from them for a work event and they never got back.Very disappointing!
