Walked here from our hotel across the street and ended up pleasantly surprised. There is ample outdoor seating in the front of restaurant, a long bar, and then tables in a separate room and in the back of the bar area. On a crazy Saturday night when all the popular downtown Albany spots were telling our party of three to expect a 30 minutes to an hour wait to be seated due to events at The Palace, MVP Arena, and Empire Live... Victory Sports Cafe saved our plans and were able to seat us in 10 minutes. The place was busy, but moving. Sat outside for a meal and a few drinks. They serve the best cider on tap I have to say. Had a meatball parm and fried pickles, all of which was good. But the server/bartender was so nice, friendly and helpful that she definitely assured my return next time I’m in Albany.
