Best falafel I've had, and I have tried many different Mediterranean restaurants in my travels. I also like the atmosphere of this place; the subdued lighting adds a romantic feeling. I would definitely go there again!

Best falafel and kebab place in capital. Staff every time nice and friendly. Owner too. Their special plate awesome. I love their pilafs too their taste is really unique. And lastly prices are inexpensive.

This place has never been great but the falafel has always been decent. It has been a few years since I last ate here and the latest visit was pretty bad. The lamb was all fat and nothing tasted fresh. I will leave 3 stars based on past history but as for the most recent visit 2 stars at best.

Mamoun’s has been such an amazing experience every single time I have gone. I started going in high school in Middletown CT. I would also frequent the New Haven location when I was able. Having not lived in the north for a long while - apx 15 years - I discovered Mamoun’s was in Albany after moving to NY. I live about an hour away. I made the trip and got to the restaurant. It was locked. The door said take out only. Imagine my disappointment after driving an hour. I had looked it up on Google and no where was there anything stating I couldn’t eat inside. I am sure their foods still amazing and consistent. I just wish I could’ve eaten it fresh at the location.

Absolutely love this place. Have been dozens of times. Currently only doing takeout. The lamb is delicious, but really love all the dishes.
I really loved this place, it was so tasty! Had to get an additional chicken skewers for my chicken combination the second time I ordered since the white meat chicken was so so tender. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous but they were only doing takeout when I visited.

OMG! Last week I had a chicken falafel & grape leaves and a mint lemonade ! Chefs kiss! Food tasted fresh & made with love. I ordered for pick up & it was hot & ready ! Staff were kind & friendly. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. FYI- They are not open for dine in, take out only.
