Daniel was an excellent server. I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Alexandria Bay in hopes that he’s still there to provide us with another exquisite experience.
In my one experience at this restaurant as a tourist from out of town, I had a young man named Daniel as my server. He offered incredible service & was so polite to my entire family. He was quick to offer refills and make sure we were taken care of, and even sparked up conversation with us when he had a moment. The food was great & the place itself was quite charming. Truly an unforgettable experience.

This place is a MUST stop. A-bay will ways be a hot stop for me and my mom friends as it's our "mom-stay-away" destination for 10+ years. We have our planned "go-tos" but this year that unexpectedly changed. Our usual place was oddly closed so we figured we'd give 1864 a try and we were impressed. They were more than happy to accommodate our large-ish party last minute! We had to wait 15 minutes due to a previous rush (good sign?), totally understandable, but they didn't miss...read full review
