We took a beginning of the week trip to Boldt Castle, and at the beginning of the week there aren’t many options in Alexandria Bay to dine. We almost left the area but stumbled right in front of the inviting patio of the River House in the hopes of some good fish and chips. Absolutely loved the place and the food. We came upon the place wandering after our boat cruise to the Castles and needed a warm dinner. It didn't disappoint! Our waitress (Whitney) was very helpful and really nice.Hands down recommend the pasta. Very hearty and comforting !

We had some really terrific burgers. The local craft beer selection is awesome. Our server, Leeah was so nice, and very attentive and fast with our drinks and food. We definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
