Love this Jrecks location. Everytime im in Alex Bay I stop for lunch. These subs just have a flavor all on their own. Super fresh roll and just a one of a kind flavor. I grew up on Jrecks in a town called Camden Ny, unfortunatley ours shut down. Thankfully we still have great locations like this one

I’ve never had a thinner more depressing sub in my entire life. Even the hot sub which is usually thicker than the cold was sad. Go someplace else.

JRECKS has delicious subs. They are not the biggest subs around, but the flavors are on spot. We have tried several locations and they are consistent. But our favorite is the Alex Bay location. The sub of choice is the Cheeseburger Sub, but tell them to add the toppings you want. We like adding the pepper relish and julienned pickle with lettuce and tomato here. The sub can be a little messy as the bread is not toasted but it is worth every bite. Get your napkins and enjoy the flavors of this food. Went mid day. Relatively long wait to order. They appeared to be short staffed. The person who waited on me was very rude and condescending. She acted that way with every customer in front of me as well. The subs are good quality. There are better subs to be had. However, in this area, your choices are limited. Overall, mid-level food with poor customer service. I recommend you try the food. Hopefully, the workers will be in a better mood.Parking: There are only about 4 or 5 parking spaces available near the sub shop. All other parking options will require you to walk.Kid-friendliness: There are several smaller kids size menu items available.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheelchair access to the establishment.

Your sub shop has a huge problem. No toaster? You serve hot subs, on soggy, untoasted, cold bread. What kind of sub shop doesnt have a toaster? This is a deal breaker for me. Should be a sign on the door.
