We went to Alex Bay for vacation this year. While we were there, we ate at the Spot twice (lunch on one day and dinner on another day.). We had great meals both times. Service was always bright and friendly. Food was excellent. We'll be back.

Two of us ate lunch here on a weekday afternoon. It was pretty busy, and it did take a bit of time to get our food. The servers were pleasant. We sat outside which is a nice patio with a lot of shade. The tables and chairs are a little wobbly. We ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer which was delicious - crispy and with a spicy sauce. We also ordered some of their sandwiches and they were tasty too. The food is good and the staff are nice. Definitely get a seat outside!

The best grilled 14 Oz prime rib I have ever had. Cooked perfectly medium rare and seasoned so well. Waitress was wonderful. Interesting menu

We weren't told until we tried to order that they were out of both appetizers we wanted. They serve sub-par potato chips with all sandwiches and then charge you $4 to upgrade to french fries. The turkey panini was underwhelming. The shrimp tacos were fine, but they come with chips??? Couldn't even manage some rice?

Such a cute place with live music and great drinks! Our waitress seemed new and was not efficient. But she was very pleasant.

Outdoor seating in summer was great. The price fits my expectations for touristy town, total $95 for two people, each had one mains and two beers. While we were seated immediately, food and drink took a long time to come out.I tried the beer battered fried fish, and it was delicious. However, the side, fingerling potatoes, seemed undercooked and had apple-like crunchiness ? my friend ordered lobster ravioli, and he throughly enjoyed the dish.

Hostess deserves a raise! She did an amazing job handling an understaffed wait staff. She was kind and as attentive as she could be. Had a delicious Pina Colada and paninis. Very cute patio to have lunch at as a tourist!

My husband, myself and another couple where there 7/9/22 for supper. Our waitress had a great personality. Our meal took forever to come and people that ordered after us were served long before we got our food. When we inquired where our meals were we were told the lobster raviolis and scallops took longer to prepare (this was after an hour of waiting). I had clams, which were also the size of a dime and our other friend had blackened perch which wasn’t the greatest. We asked about having some compensation due such a long wait time but were told no. Asked to talk to the manager, who came out and he was also an owner. When we told him our concerns and included that were were four small lobster raviolis and the scallops were super tiny he proceeded to make excuses about the cost of items. The owner had no customer service at all. We didn’t expect a free meal but a discount would be appreciated. I wouldn’t go here again. The cost of the food and the amount of food doesn’t equal. We are definitely not cheap stakes when it comes to paying for a hood meal. I wish I would have taken pictures of the food to post on my review. We went to Riley’s by the River for lunch that day and the food was delicious! Good luck if you go here for a meal. I will not be giving any more of my hard earned money to this establishment.

Based in an 1832 home of a doctor, this place has tremendous character. My fish sandwich was wonderful. Outside seating available and dog friendly.

I think the vintage signage is what caught our eye - not sure where those came from, but liked the classic look. They had a good amount of outside tables, the weather was nice, and they could seat us right away. The service was friendly, but a bit slow, but it seems like everyone is short-staffed these days. The food was ok, but not memorable (as I write this, I struggle to remember what we had). Nothing bad, just an average meal. It took awhile to get our plates cleared and more drinks, so we didn't want to wait for a dessert menu.

Stopped here after an uncle Sam's boat tour ride. The place has lots of outside seating and is dog friendly, and since we had our dog with us this worked out great. As far as the food, it's ok. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip app that was average. For the dinner I got the Buffalo chicken wrap that comes with chips. They forgot to put the Buffalo sauce on so it was kinda dry and just a chicken wrap at that point. My husband got the steak panini and switched out chips for fries ($3.99 extra). He ate the whole thing and said it was ok. He also added on a shrimp skewer to his meal ($12.99 extra) that was ok but not worth the price at all. There is a sandwich menu and a dinner menu with pastas, I feel like this place is better for sandwiches. Cocktails were cheap and outdoor seating was nice. One of the only dog friendly places in the area, so if your traveling with your dog, then this is going to be one of your only options.

I love to eat here when in A Bay. I like sitting on the patio and watching people go by. Food is excellent. Salads are great. Service is always good.
