I've seen their work. I've tasted their work. But, when I contacted them about catering an event for 100 people this coming January, I was greeted by an email that put me off a few days, which I get, I'm not always in my office, I understand. I reached back out after a couple weeks, both via telephone call and an email, got no response. Which is to bad because their menu is beyond comprehensive and amazing. So, in the end we went with another caterer who answers emails and messages.

My fiance and I hired Elegant Touch to cater our wedding and they did a fabulous job. The meal was tasty and beautifully presented (we opted for a big cheese and crudite board and passed apps during cocktail hour followed by delicious salmon, salad, and their popular marinated flank steak for dinner). The dessert was a particular highlight -- a sumptuous spread of amazing fruit pies, several types of cookies, flourless chocolate cake and more. Additionally, we were able to work with their team to upgrade our wine selection and serve some of our favorite natural wines, along with a high end champagne. A big thank you to Chef Kim, Deb and Kathy for putting together a delicious and memorable meal for our special day!

What "delicious" professionals! From the wedding menu planning and first tasting to the final dining experience, Elegant Touch was attentive, engaging, patient, and hit the mark in all respects. Taking advantage of the seasonal produce--peaches in particular!--found their way into the multi-course menu; the dessert table was abundantly amazing, so much so, that we took home the remaining pies--no way could they be left behind! Particular shout-outs to Kim, Debbie and Kathy, but truly, their entire team, for their focused efforts to making our daughter's wedding so wonderful! We highly recommend them for ANY celebration!

We were very happy with our choice of Elegant Touch for our wedding day. The appetizers, entrees, and hospitality were great. We received many compliments from our guests. Deb and Kim were very helpful in the planning process and answered all my questions and alleviated all my worries. They created a perfect menu (we served chicken, flank steak and vegetarian along with several passed and stationed appetizers). On the wedding day, Deb checked on us multiple times throughout the night to make sure everything was going okay. The food service was very smooth. We really appreciated that they saved us appetizers from the cocktail hour, and we got to take home leftovers. I would recommend them as your wedding caterer.

We are so glad we decided to go with Elegant Touch for our wedding. They made great food, and made the planning process as easy as possible. They were extremely accommodating, both working within our budget and making sure there were menu items for the gluten free bride. They customized a summer bbq buffet that delighted our guests. The steak with chimichurri was a huge hit! Everyone commented at how delicious the food was.The wait staff was superb. They were friendly and attentive, and made everyone feel welcome. If you have the chance to work with Elegant Touch you should take it!Thanks again Deborah, Kim, and team!

Elegant Touch just hosted a wedding at our venue in Lake George Saturday and they knocked it out of the park. Staff was awesome, great food, they took care of everything we wanted, the clients, guests and more. They came prepared and handled everything. Very good hospitality caterer, they can come back anytime!

As someone else mentioned, poor customer service and morals. We hired elegant touch as our wedding caterer during the COVID pandemic. We worked primarily with Deb, who was better than Kim, but the two run the business quite poorly. There seems to be no communication between the two. We got 4 different final invoices from them, as they kept messing up the cost breakdown. They charge you for a tasting, and the chef doesn't come out to introduce herself, which is just weird. They tried charging us bar price for minors, made us pay $2 extra for lemonade (which is a quite common bar mixer), and served the wrong salad dressing on the day of the event, which they knew one of our guests was allergic to. The food itself did taste okay, but it was not worth the amount of money we paid, especially for the hassle it was to work with them throughout the planning process. Would not recommend.

We just used Elegant Touch for the catering for our wedding and the food was amazing! It was supposed to be in 2020 but everything was delayed during the pandemic, so we had to push it back to 2021. Everyone was so accommodating with pushing things back a year. We just had the wedding last weekend and everyone keeps telling us how great the food was! They had such fun options, like mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters and cheesy risotto balls. I highly recommend them, and especially recommend the marinated flank steak and macaroni and cheese!

Do not use Elegant Touch. Unwilling to work with us during covid to have a smaller wedding, retained all deposit, despite ample notice. Unwilling to provide any further services. Very poor customer service and morals.

Hiring Elegant Touch was the worst decision I made as a bride. My husband and I are supposed to be enjoying life as newlyweds. Instead, we are dealing with phone calls, texts, and emails from wedding guests and vendors who did not get to eat at our wedding because of the services they failed to provide. 1) They ran out of food at both stations and did not serve any of the vendor meals we paid for. Wedding guests and vendors had to heat up leftover lasagna from our rehearsal dinner because Elegant Touch ran out of food. 2) The food they served was drastically different than what we were served at our initial tasting. Instead of scallop ceviche, they served some kind of raw tuna mush with avocado. The duck buns they served was hard as a rock (both the meat and the bun). My mother in law went into the chef tent to complain and was told a new tray would come out. The tray never came. 3) They were rude, and defensive during the entire wedding planning process. After the wedding when we approached them with our complaints, they played the blame game...pointing fingers at our wedding planner, the venue and anyone else they could. They also tried to tell us they "donated" our leftover wedding food to a local church group. I would love to know the name of the group because they were probably served better food than the guests at our wedding. 1 star is generous for the amount of pain this catering service caused us. I'm including my phone number here for anyone who wants to contact me before hiring Elegant Touch. Cell: 714-757-9449

This is the most unprofessional place that I have ever delt with, ever!!' We used elegant touch for our wedding on lake George this past July... The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional! My guests who ordered prime rib were served chicken! When my guests said they had received the wrong dish they were given attitude and told there was no more prime rib!!! Which is impossible especially when the whole wait staff was in the back eating the prime rib that was meant for my guest! When my wedding planner told them they needed to give my guest the prime rib, the waitress brought it to my guest and basically threw there plates in front of them!!!! We had Italian meats and cheeses as some if our hors de vours and the cheese was not even cut nor were there any utensils to cut it with... There were no napkins or plates provided for the hors de vours either! Not only this, if you think they will caterer to the bride and groom your wrong... In fact husband and I didn't even get a chance to taste anything except a meatball!! (We were taking pics) They didn't even set some aside for us to eat later!! It seemed to be a big deal when we asked them to bring us a drink! At the end of the night they didn't leave any thing for any of my guest to drink not even water! So for two hours my guest were thirsty ( very hot in July) not to mention we paid for these drinks and watched them pack them up! they didn't clean anything at all!!! After everything was over my husband and I had to clean up after our own wedding!!' Nice to know when you get married in a castle and pay top dollar for a caterer you have to do their job at the end of the night! To top this all off my guests heard the waitstaff call our family white trash!!! I'm sure white trash get married in a castle all the time!! This is the worse place ever I wouldn't recommend it to my worse enemy! Let me say one good thing, the food tasted good and that is all!!' So if you want to deal with one big attitude all night and the wait staff eating the food you paid for your guest to have, I suggest this place!! Absolutely horrible!

Elegant Touch catered our wedding down in Connecticut in 1997. They used to have a restaurant and that is how we became familiar with them. We were frequent diners with them and never thought they would want to travel so far to cater but we asked anyhow and were very pleased when they accepted the challenge of traveling some 2 hours away! On the day of the wedding and prior to the start of the service, they still hadn't arrived! Ugh! Then came a phone call indicating they had gotten lost. Remember this was before GPS navigation was prevalent. I went into the ceremony, not knowing if we would be having food available afterward! During the ceremony, they arrived and must have kicked it into high gear in order to be ready for the reception. I don't know how they did it! You would not have known that any kind of wrench had been thrown into the plan. The food and service was excellent! I would highly recommend them!

The owners, Kim and Deb, are very particular about how they like things to work. They seem to operate kind of like your wedding planner. The guests of our wedding said that they were happy with the food. I thought for what we paid, that the food was not up to my standards (Dull colors, over seasoned, minimal displays). We made one special requests, light salt, due to dietary needs. We were assured that they would be light on the salt. There were many dished that were almost inedible due to the salt content. My groom and I were advised that a member of the staff would be attending to us throughout the event, we were introduced to a member of the staff at the beginning of the event and that was the last time we saw her for the whole night. We paid a separate charge so that the children could have a different menu (chicken fingers and fries). The kids were not served chicken fingers or fries.

I hesitate to review my wedding caterer because it seems like the service would be so personal and involved for each customer, versus a store or restaurant where they are pumping out the same thing all day long, but I feel it is appropriate to offer my endorsement. Elegant Touch catered my wedding reception, and they were a class act. From the first time we contacted Deb and were given a sample menu (which we ended up using because it looked so good) to the actual day of the reception itself, they were nothing but helpful, kind, and professional. The food was delicious, everything was where it should be on time, and they handled us and our guests with care. We even had a couple of curveballs in the form of 50 bottles of Jones Soda and 30 lbs of candy for a candy bar, and they put all of that together perfectly.
