“As soon as I seen another Hot Pot placed opened up I was very eager to try this out. It's not a typical hot pot restaurant where you cook the food yourself, but you can pick what you want inside your dish (meats, seafoods, veggies, etc.). The selection of choices is very good, and the quality is great. I'll definitely be coming back for more.“

“one of my favs in downtown buffalo for years. the food is absolute perfection. the staff is top notch. the manager Adam is absolutely amazing and makes us feel like we are always welcome and appreciated. the ambiance of this amazing place along with an unbelievable whiskey selection has made this a once a week or evey other week place for us. honestly i wish i could eat and drink here every day!!!“

“Great spot for Cajun food! Lots of space, quiet atmosphere when we go for lunch. Great service from the one woman who is always there at opening time. Must try- bourbon chicken sandwich- it melts in your mouth! I can't help but get it every time.“

“Good doesn't begin to describe the food here, and the amount you get is pretty crazy. A few years ago I found this place when everything else was shut down, and I'm so glad I did.The catfish is fantastic. A simple cornmeal breading gives it a crispy bite with a tender and flaky interior, and the thin ends of the filets curl and brown in the oil, creating a nice crunchy treat.The red beans and rice are tender without being starchy, with just the right amount of green onion on top to give it that kick.The sausage in the jambalaya stands up to the heavy flavors and is a standout on its own.The grits are creamy and buttery.All of these are customizable with shrimp and other toppings that bring them from simple, but still delicious, dishes to fantastic fare that you'll only share because there's too much to eat on your own.And that's not all. Those were just the gluten free options. There's still crawfish etouffee, gumbo and cornbread. While I haven't had the pleasure of trying them, my family has and they tell me that all of it is just as good as the rest of menu.I know that this review is verbose, but if you take the time to visit this little gem tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, you'll quickly discover just why I can't shut up about it.Dietary restrictions: A great variety of gluten free dishes.“

“Truly a hidden gem. I used to live in this neighborhood but never knew this place existed. I came here with my friend when they first opened over the weekend. It was pretty empty. There is a small bar when you first walk in. I ordered a blackened catfish po'boy which came with the sandwich, sweet potato fries covered with some sort of honey glaze, as well as slaw. The portion was large but overall, delish. Wish they toned a bit back on the spices on the fish but the fries and slaw were a nice touch. The restaurant got pretty busy quick afterwards. Would def recommend!“

“We got food from Far East Bayou last night and it was everything I hoped and more. The food was incredible - the seasonings were delicious and balanced, portions were fantastic for the price, and it was made to order. Lamont was incredibly friendly and did a fantastic job with our orders. Can’t wait to eat his food again!“

“Came here on a Saturday afternoon. It was very busy, so the service was pretty quick.I got 1lb of the headless shrimp - it tasted ok. The shrimp itself was a tad overcooked and it didn’t taste as good as a seafood boil in the South. Probably because it wasn’t a seafood boil in the South…Not sure if I’d go back, but I will say, I was full for HOURS afterwards.“

“Had a horrible experience. Our server was very pushy and barely serviced our table because she had bigger tables we remain calm and nice and tried to engage but all she did was talk over us every time we had an issue or needed something. We had an issue she argued and said that we had ordered something we didn't the bill ended up becoming $140 more than it should have and the manager did nothing but give a $40 gift card. When my husband told the server he didn't order king crabs he ordered snow crabs she argued with him and he just accepted it because he's a nice guy he didn't eat his crabs because he never eats king crabs he doesn't like the texture so he gave them to everyone else at the table we were also shorted crabs and when we brought up to the manager all he did was offer $40 gift card our bill was well over $300 I will never go back here again nothing was taken seriously. I felt like our night out was just one big scam. This was our first and last time there. And yes we did leave a tip for the server even though she did a horrible job. And to add both tables around us also had trouble with their servers and their bills.“

“Went here for the first time with friends on a Wednesday night for dinner. The food was BANGIN! The chicken tenders, fish tacos, and salmon were all great. Same with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The garlic parm sauce for the tenders and the fish tacos sauce should be sold by the bottle. Service was good except for the fact that the meals came out almost 15 minutes apart.“
