“We enjoyed a lovely long lunch at Chat-A-Wyle. The atmosphere was sunlit and cheerful, with lots of surrounding conversation . Service was prompt. The menu had unique soup items, and " worth the calories " deserts.”
“Last visit of the season. The excellent ice cream shop will be closing next weekend. September 24th is their last day this year. Always great ice cream, friendly service, and a fun time!”
“Only giving 4 stars because there’s not that much room for customers it’s very small inside and don’t have the means the accommodate larger groups..other then that it was great food”
“Wife had a buffalo chicken salad, I had wings. Both were good. We split a basket of fried mushrooms, which were a bit over cooked. Fairly crowded even on a weekday night, which is usually a good sign. Reasonably good selection of draft beers. We will definitely go back.”
“Great food, I always go here for the lunch special which is such a good deal! Love their lo mein and egg fried rice (which isn't on the menu but you can ask them and they'll make it for you)”
“Stopped here for dinner while on vacation in the area, First thing is our waitress was super nice and friendly great personality perfect waitress. I ordered the NY Strip steak and it was cooked perfectly temperature wise, a little too much charred flavor for my liking but overall a well cooked steak. Got broccoli as a side it just came steamed not sautéed or anything. The other thing is they are cash only didn’t realize that till the end of dinner so good thing they have an ATM in the restaurant. I would try this place again if I was in the area for sure. If you are near by give it a try it’s worth the stop. NY Style cheesecake with strawberries was good.”
“The food is affordable, delicious and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming! Definitely recommend this place wether you are passing by or live nearby!”
“AMAZING PRIME RIB AND AU JUS. So tender and cooked perfectly. The pan seared scallops were overcooked by a mile, definitely a waste of $20. Never have not eaten scallops at a restaurant before, just very chewy and no flavor even when dipped in lemon butter. Our server Andrew was very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was very laid back nothing fancy or upscale. Reasonable prices for big portions. Will be returning for more prime rib!”
“Awesome place. Super friendly staff and great burgers and wings!!!! Prices are awesome to so it's definitely a place I would go to over alot of places that are similar to.”
“Wonderful experience. Good food and clean store.Vegetarian options: Veggie patty sub was very delicious.Kid-friendliness: Lot of space to sit outside. Gazebo is cool to sit in and eat.”
“Better than the McDonalds at the end of Upper Front Street in Binghamton near the College/Cooperative Extension.I advise avoiding That one. ( either the buns are burnt or its put together and is a big mess. It's just gross and we avoid it. That's why we went to this one, better consistant food, quality )This McDonalds was as expected.”
“Cutest little coffee shop in Endicott! I’ve been a patron since they opened, and it’s been great to see them expand & be successful. Staff is always super friendly, I forget we’re not all best friends sometimes they’re THAT nice! I love checking their drink of the day, even when I’m not able to go there in the morning ?please bring back the marshmallow drizzle for your pb & banana toast ”
“Ordered the Sicilian, create your own pizza. With black olives, ricotta cheese, and spinach.Very tasty. This is actually the third time I've ordered from Taylor's. First time pizza, second time a calzone, this time pizza. All of it is very good.If you're in the mood for some good pizza, give Taylor's a try.”
“I love that there’s a Polish restaurant in this area, such a treasure! I went here shortly after coming back from Poland and spoke with them about the different areas. Their combination platter and the Goulash over kasha are two of my favs. Love that they have Polish sweets for purchase inside too.”
“Today we visited Miss Kate as we often do. Ordered steak hibachi and it just tasted, different to me. This is something I regularly order and it was just “off”. Couldn’t explain why.Miss Kate noticed I hadn’t eaten much of my plate and asked if it was okay.I mentioned that I wasn't going to say anything but it was just different today and not my favorite. But that I would absolutely pay for it, and to please not take it off my bill. Miss Kate apologized numerous times and didn’t hesitate to immediately remove my meal from the bill. Completely unnecessary but non the less appreciated. Needless to say I then left her a very gracious tip. Service and kindness goes such a long way, and mistakes can happen. We should all just give each other more grace. Miss Kate made my day with her kind gesture. Will of course be coming back.”
“The LOVELIEST cafe and the most delightful staff and ownership. I would drive at least two hours for the homemade bagels. Do yourself a favour, hop off the highway and get your tastebuds and soul uplifted. Bonus - if you bring your kids you won’t get scowled at.”
“Large portions, friendly knowledgeable staff, nice comfy layout. Sauces were tasty. Pit beans spot on, cornbread was not dried out. Pulled pork was very flavorful as well as the turkey. Get there early though they sell out for a good reason!”
“The first time my husband and I tried to come here it was packed and we couldn't get in. We are so glad we tried again because after experiencing ODB, it's so easy to see why they are so busy. The people that work there could not be friendlier or more welcoming. The donuts are so pretty. Very Instagram worthy. They offer delicious flavors and have new offerings regularly. They also have savory food as well! My husband and I got breakfast sandwiches that were large, hot, and buttery. So good! They also have the best fresh squeezed OJ in the area. The interior is warm yet fun. We really enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning!”
“Stopped in for a couple beers and food. Pizza and wings were good.. Service was friendly. Place started getting busy when we left. Seems like a friendly local place.”
“OMG! The best pizza ever!!!It's small and quaint and we had a little wait but it was totally worth the wait! This will become one of our regular places once we're settled in!”
“I have been going to Wolfie's for years and this is one of my favorite ice cream shops around! They have lots of flavors and such a nice atmosphere. The staff is also super friendly. My favorites are the Cappuccino Crunch, Brownie Sundae, Waffle Cones, and Soft Serve!”
“Not the kind of pizza that one would expect that is situated in between a small town and half way down from a even smaller village in Southern Tier. Afterall, the pizza of choice in the immediate locality is sheet pizza. Theirs is far from it. When it comes to NY style, my opinion is that Langland's has some of the best in the area. The crust, the cheese and the toppings are done to near the perfection a pizza snob comes to expect. Their white pies are equally as good as the more commonly available red. They also offer a tasty couliflower crust variation that is worth mentioning.”
“Just what you expect out of an Upstate bar, great friendly personable service and the food peaked my expectations. I had the garlic aioli bun with steak sandwich. Not sure exactly what they called it but tasty it was.”
“One of the best ice cream shops in the Southern Tier. Their espresso and Irish creme soft serve is amazing, and beyond that there is so much to choose from. The owners are super nice and the staff is also very courteous and friendly. Can’t wait to have my go to order soon!!”
“I go to Mario's or have them deliver about once a month over the past 16 years so I'll base this review on my approximately 192 experiences with Mario's. Always a top notch 100% authentic New York thin crust pizza baked to perfection! Every single time! Now here's where they shine: if you put veggies on your pizza like onions, peppers, olives etc, it's hard not to get a soggy pizza. Not at Mario's, the crust is always crispy, never soggy and in the 200 times I've ordered their pizza, it's perfectly cooked. I probably should have written a review years ago, guess I took this place for granted but man they are a class act. I've eaten inside a few times and the service has always been friendly and prompt. The ambiance is quintessential local pizza joint--wonderful. My employer is about 3 miles away and we always go to Mario's for special lunch events or order for on-site visitors. It's just a well rounded perfect pizza joint and the price is super affordable. Love this place!”
“A wonderful place to grab lunch. They have a great menu plus daily specials. I love the soups, always tasty. Reasonable prices and homey decor. It's a go to place whenever I'm in Owego.”
“The BEST sushi in Broome county. I've never been to another sushi spot that even compared! Their food is actually authentic, prices are outrageously fair, and the service is amazing. TRY THEM OUT!”
“Friend's Diner has good diner food and good service. There is a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The diner first opened in 1983.On my first ever visit. I had the sausage biscuits and gravy with hash browns, toast, and coffee. The sausage biscuits and gravy had a nice taste to them.If you're looking good food at reasonable prices, give Friends Diner a try.”

“We stopped here for a Geocache and discovered the cutest cafe/bar we only got lattes but the people there were absolutely fantastic. Definitely will come back, highly recommend!”
