“The first time my husband and I tried to come here it was packed and we couldn't get in. We are so glad we tried again because after experiencing ODB, it's so easy to see why they are so busy. The people that work there could not be friendlier or more welcoming. The donuts are so pretty. Very Instagram worthy. They offer delicious flavors and have new offerings regularly. They also have savory food as well! My husband and I got breakfast sandwiches that were large, hot, and buttery. So good! They also have the best fresh squeezed OJ in the area. The interior is warm yet fun. We really enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning!”
“Stopped in for a couple beers and food. Pizza and wings were good.. Service was friendly. Place started getting busy when we left. Seems like a friendly local place.”
“Amazing food! Excellent and friendly service. The beer was good too. Was on 17 looking for a local place to eat during our travels and happy to have found this place. Definitely worth the stop.”
“I go to Mario's or have them deliver about once a month over the past 16 years so I'll base this review on my approximately 192 experiences with Mario's. Always a top notch 100% authentic New York thin crust pizza baked to perfection! Every single time! Now here's where they shine: if you put veggies on your pizza like onions, peppers, olives etc, it's hard not to get a soggy pizza. Not at Mario's, the crust is always crispy, never soggy and in the 200 times I've ordered their pizza, it's perfectly cooked. I probably should have written a review years ago, guess I took this place for granted but man they are a class act. I've eaten inside a few times and the service has always been friendly and prompt. The ambiance is quintessential local pizza joint--wonderful. My employer is about 3 miles away and we always go to Mario's for special lunch events or order for on-site visitors. It's just a well rounded perfect pizza joint and the price is super affordable. Love this place!”
“A wonderful place to grab lunch. They have a great menu plus daily specials. I love the soups, always tasty. Reasonable prices and homey decor. It's a go to place whenever I'm in Owego.”
“Was there for brunch on my bday Sunday 2/25…the brunch is AMAZING. It was such a great crowd, atmosphere and our server, Melissa was absolutely phenomenal! Yummy ”
“Very friendly employees over here at this Lucky Hare. This place definitely has very good food and they also have non-alcoholic options like regular or diet sodas. Not only that, they have awesome open mics like once a week, trivia like once an other week and they also have LIVE music like every other Fridays or other Saturdays. I highly recommend going there for when you are either hungry, thirsty or when you feel like listening to some music. This place is the best!”
“I’ve lived in NYC and Philly and this pizza has to best I’ve ever had. I got the spicy kielbasa with red sauce - the sausage was spicy, jalapeños were fresh, the dough, sauce, everything was masterful. This isn’t a traditional pizzeria, it’s right next to an eponymous bar and you text the order to a number. The chef then brings you the pie from I guess his personal kitchen? Not exactly sure. The bar was great vibes and traffic picks up later at night.”
“I just love small, local diners. Where the staff knows most of the customers and your food comes out immediately. And their cheesecake options looked incredible.”
“Found a receipt I saved for a must stop again place, next time I visit Owego. This little smoothies shop have amazing mixed of flavors, the attendant/owner, was very nice to allow me to tweak some of the ingredients in my smoothie, I also ordered a soup, since was their new menu Item for fall. This is a small shop, great mix on smoothies flavor and tasty soups, amazing customer service with a very welcoming vibe. Yum ?Vegetarian options: Offers fruit smoothies, mushrooms soup too!Wheelchair accessibility: Is on main Street in Owego.”
“Tried the grilled Cuban sandwich, it was outstanding and very fresh tasting, price was right for a date night with the hubby, nice quiet atmosphere. Didn't rent a room.Walkability: Several small town shopsFood & drinks: A little bit of everything in the area”
“Chinese restaurants vary widely, in terms of quality. Panda Wok has been around since at least the early 2000's, and they are always, always high quality. Everything is so good, and they are vastly superior to so many other Chinese restaurants in the area.”
“This place is lovely. I've been going for 5 years, and here's what I love: The owner and the waitresses make an effort to remember you. They remember your favorite orders, how you like them, and sometimes you can come in and get what you want without having to ask. The eggs are incredible. I tried the eggs at the diner down the road on 17C, they were abysmal. But the eggs here at Harris Diner are always perfect, not too "eggy" in taste, but rather light and pleasant. Coffee is fresh, they have great soup, and one of the waitresses cooks some great pies, which gives you a wide dessert selection. If I had one minor complaint, the prices have gone up a little. But the service, quality of the food, ambience, and the familial interactions with Mr. Harris and his company are all worth it. Please stop by if you're traveling, you won't regret it!”
“Their food here are really delicious and it’s highly recommended. This restaurant makes very good food, such as General Tso’s Chicken, Rices, Lo Meins, Egg Rolls, etc. One of my favorite places to eat at!”
“The LOVELIEST cafe and the most delightful staff and ownership. I would drive at least two hours for the homemade bagels. Do yourself a favour, hop off the highway and get your tastebuds and soul uplifted. Bonus - if you bring your kids you won’t get scowled at.”
