“Want to give a huge shout out to the owners of Chenzas Twisted Tacos! I was passing through with my family the last few evenings, but was never able to get there before close. Last night, at about a few minutes to 8pm, which is closing time, I stopped and the owners took great care of us. Anywhere else and typically you would get “sorry, it’s closing crime!” This was not the case at Chenzas Twisted Tacos! They fired up the grill, fryer, and whatever else to accommodate my family and I. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the place was immaculate. The owners took great care of us and treated us like family. We will definitely be back!“

“My husband and I have dined at the Cooperage Inn for many, many years. It literally is our favorite, and most definitely our go -to restaurant when friends from Queens and Nassau visit, as it never disappoints!! The food is absolutely delicious and always fresh; I had the lamb, which is the best and most tender I’ve ever had - the short rib pot pie awesome ? The staff makes you feel like family every visit. A shout out to Scott, who is always accommodating; a real sweetheart, and attentive to all his guests. Bella, our most recent waitress, was delightful and made the evening so enjoyable with her superior service and comedic charm. A perfect evening!“

“Barrow is a Williamsburg want to be. The pseudo health food is anything but. Their chicken wrap was below standard, no taste, all mayonnaise. The service inexistant if you call handing two napkins and forks to a customer as service. Water is self-service from piled up plastic cups and carafes .It was a very disappointing experience.“

“It was my first time & Jerry and the Mermaid & my server was named Lynn. She was a very sweet woman who made my experience even more enjoyable. The oysters were very fresh & briney the way that I like them & me & my friend were seated fairly quickly. The espresso martinis were soooo good, definitely recommend that if you’re into those. “One of the best gluten free places around! Yet, gluten full is also available and you have to tell the waiter if you are gluten free to be safest. They have an excellent quinoa bowl with chicken and very tasty chicken burger. Their fries are the best. It's a great place to try if you are gluten free or not. Can't wait to go back.“

I usually give visitors to LI a tour of the North Fork, and this is one of the stops.I had the lamb burger on my most recent visit, and it was cooked very well - still juicy! “Came here the first time I visited Rivehead and now I make sure I leave time to visit each time I come back! I l always order sandwiches because they have not yet disappointed! I've brought my whole family as well as friends here and every single person has LOVED it. The place is family owned and it looks probably a lot like it did when it first opened. So cute and old fashioned. Also, I love their egg creams and their chocolate shakes! Definitely worth ordering. Everything is reasonably priced and just perfectly made. It's just nice to have some simple foods perfectly made! Highly recommend to anyone in town for the day. (Hours are unpredictable so just give them a call before heading over, but honestly it's part of the charm, it's a family place!)“

“My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch (3:40pm). We heard the burgers are really good. Started the meal with an appetizer of a dozen chicken wings, 6 hot & 6 Jerked. The wings were very good. The meals, My wife had a cheese burger with onion rings, I had the New York BEC with SPK and fries. The fries were probably the best I have had on Long Island. Super crunchy and very TASTEY. The BEC with SPK was also delicious. Be aware, they wrap it and cut it in half on the plate which was something I wasn’t expecting. I can easily palm a basketball so the half of burger was like eating a nugget. Food was really good but lost 1 star for the simple reason. My wife ate her entire meal which NEVER happens, and I left still feeling hungry which also never happens when we eat out. I never have room for desert and my wife always leaves with something to take home but this was the exception. First time for everything I guess. Bill came to $70 for the 2 of us which is not really that bad, just wish the portions were a little bigger. They have a big patio area out back that will surely pack out when the season starts.Parking: Public Parking around back, wasn’t bad but season hasn’t really started yet. It was mid-April“

“Nice little sandwich shop in Mattituck. We hit this place before going to a couple wineries nearby. The woman behind the counter was quite nice and told us about her few favorite sandwiches. We ordered fries, the game day, and Charlie's brother in law. Everything was tasty and fresh. The game day was delicious but could have used more sauce and honestly a little less chicken. Charlie's brother in law was perfect. Nice and lite. Fries had great seasoning/batter but unfortunately stuck together a bit. Will return!“

“5 star food 3 star service It's nothing to impress by looks, but the food is superb. Just outstanding! The seating is very tight if you dine in the upper dining area. We will definitely be back, but I would request the lower area. It's spaced much better. The evening we went, it was packed house and our server could not keep up. She was nice, but it was difficult to get her when we needed something. Our appetizer plates weren't cleared before our meals came and we were 4 people at a small table. My chair of if I moved at all, backed up into party next to us. But again..the food is unbelievable! That will bring me back for sure.“
