“May 30, 2024. I had a delicious prime rib dinner at lunch. It is so hard these days to. find one that is tender and juicy but this fit the bill. Friendly staff and friendly patrons.“

“This has to be one of the best branches I've ever had in my life to be honest! Absolutely loved everything about this place! Luckily, we came during a low season and were seated almost immediately. The waitstaff is wonderful and the music by the chef and owner was the best during our entire brunch! They were kind enough to share their Spotify playlist with us as we were leaving! Great ambience! :)) Everything was super delicious and some of the best buttermilk pancakes I've ever had in my life! You can tell everything is fresh + locally grown, and the best ingredients. “I have been going to Riverhead Friendlys for 25 years from Albert the manager and his successor Ritchie and of course seeing Oscar grow from all positions to the manager now was an awesome privilege. “I have come down here the past few Wednesdays to grab a drink and catch up with a friend. It’s a nice atmosphere to have a conversation and play games like connect four while grabbing a snack and a drink. We also met a great waiter and bartender who makes us laugh all the time and now knows our name Jared. Honestly he is one of the reasons we chose to come here.“

“My wife, friends and I just went there. Had the Steak tips and garlic bread, wife had the blacked mahi mahi, one friend got the Cajun burger. Holy Crap... Amazing food. Then we needed a take out vegetarian meal for the Mother in Law. She freaking loved it.Thanks again to the owner and the staff who were funny as hell. Also the other customers were great. “5 star food 3 star service It's nothing to impress by looks, but the food is superb. Just outstanding! The seating is very tight if you dine in the upper dining area. We will definitely be back, but I would request the lower area. It's spaced much better. The evening we went, it was packed house and our server could not keep up. She was nice, but it was difficult to get her when we needed something. Our appetizer plates weren't cleared before our meals came and we were 4 people at a small table. My chair of if I moved at all, backed up into party next to us. But again..the food is unbelievable! That will bring me back for sure.“

“Food is always hot and fresh, I don't normally eat fast food but sometimes this hits the spot. Kyle is my favorite person ever! If you go, make sure you say hi to him! I wish this location had a drive through. Although, it's probably better to walk in and burn off the extra calories and salt I consume here haha.“

“We wanted pancakes so what better place to come than IHOP! The restaurant was busy at 9:00 am on a Saturday but not too crowded. We were greeted and seated immediately. The place was very clean. Our server helped us with coffee and gave us time to figure out our orders. They had biscuits and sausage gravy on the menu so I had to order a side of that along with my blueberry pancakes. The pancakes were outstanding. The biscuit was not great, but my expectations for biscuits north of the Mason Dixon line are low so I won't hold it against the place. I enjoyed my meal here and it was a very pleasant experience overall.“
