“My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time and it was great! The service was friendly, they were attentative to our needs such as re-filling water without us asking. There are restaurants where you have to ask the waiter to refill the water (I understand if the place is busy but if the business is slow and the waiter is not attentive that is a pet peeve).The recommendation that the waiter suggested was great! We ordered two burgers ( Baconology and Genus burger both with sweet potatoes fries) plus an appetizer (Nacho Board). This burger place is way better than this other burger place in Queens claiming to be the best in Queens. That burger place, (NOT BURGEROLOGY) was whatever and the owner clearly doesn't know how to handle reviews. Burgerology Astoria I recommend??????“

“For the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would leave a less than stellar review for Chubby's. One of my go-tos is the crispy, delicious fried chicken, with a side of Cole slaw and their fluffy biscuits. Plural because I always get an extra biscuit because the flavor and texture are excellent. My other fave is the juicy, generously portioned burger. Cheaper than others in the 'hood and tastier than you might expect from fast food. The cherries on the top are the carrot cake and the friendly service. The interior is bare bones but it's clean and I always take it out so I don't care about the cafeteria feel of it. When you're just not in the mood to cook and looking for a treat, get all of the above and do something more fun than slaving over a hot stove.“
“Been coming to Chubby's since 2012, I think that time they were named something different. Always get the Chicken Cheese Steak it's very tasty. It's the best Halal Fast food in the area, always order on the phone and it's ready when I get there. Would definitely recommend to Halal Food eaters (Also Non-Halal food eaters) who can't find good quality halal fast food. I was always envious looking at fast food items that weren't halal and then I found this place.“

“Sign in the window said "4 for $5" - bisquit, three pieces of chicken. Ok. I wanted fried chicken tonight as a treat. I walked in, I said: 4 for 5. he said: spicy or regular. Regular. “We came across this restaurant from a viral social post and didnt have any expectations honestly. The food was EXCELLENT and it had been a while since we’ve said that about a trending restaurant in NYC. We started with the wings that were some of the best wings I’ve ever had ( they serve it piping with a side of soaked towels to wash your hands) and the bone marrow was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Served on the bone with a side of buttery toast to place the marrow on and a delicious onion jam that sealed the deal. Then we had their famous burger with bacon and egg and it did not disappoint and a shaved prime rib that was AMAZING with a side of bacon Mac and cheese (we came hungry lol). Finished with the chocolate cream pie and key lime pie that sent us. Now the food was amazing but I have to say our server Ariana was what made our overall experience a 10/10. She was the BEST server we have experienced in a long time. She was so friendly, outgoing, and perfectly attentive and really made our night extra special to be honest. WE WILL BE BACK!“

Get here around 4:23 on a Thursday and you’ll only wait 40 minutes in the wind to get a seat at the Coop, where you’ll spend 10 more minutes trying to puzzle through their menu. Your friends and you will pick different items, curious if it’s actually good, but once the drinks and sandwich’s come, you’ll wonder how you’ll ever go to another bar.Cocktails are a few more dollars than the average New York drink, but the quality is at least double (no pun intended).“
“My husband and I use to live in Astoria, now we live in long Island. we come back to visit friends, and this is our new hang out for lunch!! We were there March 3rd, 2024. just yesterday, I always order a different burger but instead I ordered the avocado eggs benedict it was soooo good and tasty. I have to give a shout out to the servers Christian and Sabastion they were so busy and great and all in all the food and service is a 5 star for me I will keep coming back from Long Island Odette and Sergio.
