Service was excellent, but the sushi??? The spider roll was in fact the worst I have ever had, and the spicy tuna roll, the salmon and yellowtail…pretty

I will say, this Sushi restaurant is the best in NYC!!!! The staff is very friendly. The salmon and eel tasted delicious and fresh. ?I will be coming back to this restaurant in the future!!!

I’ve only ever gotten take out from this place since it’s right by me. I like that they have so much variety but balk at the idea of paying $17 for a roll. Most taste the same to me. So I get the $7 rolls. When I come in I usually get rushed to order, which doesn’t feel good. Also sucks to pay extra for using a credit card, as opposed to cash. There’s never anyone in the store when I’ve gone to get food and I’ve made a visit 5-ish times over the past year. It seems like the restaurant is struggling to survive to adding on fees where they can.

Went with a couple friends and everything was good, lots of variety and nice vegetarian options

My wife and I love sushi and come here nearly weekly. At this point we walk in, sit down and get our "usual." Staff is friendly and the food is good. When it comes to Sushi there is gas station sushi and then there is omakase-only-super-fresh-super-pricy-sushi. Junko isn't the latter and definitely not the first. It's solid, fresh, good tasting sushi with plenty of choice and variation. The price to quality ratio is really good. Sure you can get a similar experience for the same price and a better experience for quite a bit more: it doesn't take away from the consistently good food that they serve.

I got the lunch special (2 rolls+ soup or salad for $11.95) on DoorDash. Food came very quickly which I liked but also scared me that the food was pre-prepared. I got the spicy tuna roll which tasted like nothing, literally. The philadelphia roll was decent. My stomach hurt about 10 minutes after eating. The salad was

Junko is my go-to sushi spot in Astoria. They do more carryout and delivery than dine-in since COVID, but they’re still as polite as ever if you want to sit and eat. Tasty sushi standards and always fresh!

I had a positive experience with their delicious sushi offerings. The sushi itself was enjoyable, and the service provided by the staff was friendly and attentive. However, it was uncomfortable to discover that the restaurant imposed an additional fee for payments made with a credit card. This unexpected surcharge left a somewhat sour note in an otherwise pleasant dining experience.

Junko seems like mostly a take out sushi restaurant. There are a few tables with a sushi bar towards the back. The Godzilla roll had good flavor. The price was a bit high especially considering the room was on the small side. I would order from here again as long as I'm in the area. Parking is terrible in this area with meters and parking meter maids.

Ordered House special roll through grubhub for pickup. The staffs were nice and friendly, the roll was very delicious, balanced between crunchy and soft. Definitely my new go-to!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Ordered sushi from here and there was a fly walking around on top of the sushi while the container was still closed. After seeing the fly. We refused to eat the meal. We Called the restaurant and they said they said they can only refund the sushi not the whole meal. The lady was rude and said you can just eat the miso soup, then hung up didn't even apologize. After seeing the fly we don't trust eating the rest of the meal. This is unsanitary and unacceptable. Especially when they, serve literal raw fish. Do not eat here. Literally DISGUSTED

If you are on a cheap-sushi-day this is a good option. Fish quality and variety is okay for the lower end of prices. Not the best sushi grade fish, but dishes are prepared and finished with care.If you are expecting great quality sushi, you must also be willing to pay more and, eventually, you can find better options.
