For some reason, my tax on the bill was about 12%. I mentioned it to the waitress Abby, she said she really didn’t care. I don’t care for your attitude or your comp on the beer. You still got a 25% tip. Amy was super nice. Most people don’t check what's being charged on their bill, just this one time my group did! And they charge for bread.

I love this place but they need to change the avocado toast’s price or need to double the quantity. I paid $15 for this. This was the size of one piece of bread that you would buy at the supermarket.

The food and atmosphere was pretty good. At the end, the party switched from paying cash to card. My friend paid with card, so while she did that, the rest of the party tried to figure out the tip. 10 dollars was placed on table while we tried to figure out the rest of the tip. The waiter picked up the 10 dollars and asked my friend who paid with card if the service was bad in a snarky tone. My friend who paid with card was confused and said the service was fine. The waiter told her the tip was less than 10% and seemed annoyed. In pure confusion my friend handed the waiter another 10 without knowing what was put down on the table. That type of pressure is absolutely disgusting from a waiter. I’ve never had a waiter count the money they got as a tip in front of the customer. I understand that tipping is important for waiters but that was gross behavior. If you want to tip the waiters that work for Queen Room, make sure you do it last minute so you’re not faced with immediate judgment. Disgusting behavior from the waiter.

Loved every second here. I've been here for dinner before but never came for brunch. I actually loved my brunch experience even more so. The only thing is that is was loud but honestly that didn't matter because the vibes in there were so chill and the food was incredible. Hands down one of my favorite spots in Astoria.

I had this place on my "to-visit" list for a long time and i went today -it didn't disappoint at all.First, the hostess was extremely helpful and kind, took our names and put us on a waiting list. We went for a walk and they messaged us that the table is ready. Usually other places make you wait outside and I am glad this one didn'tThe waitress was the sweetest lady and at one point the owner (female-led business!!!!) came and asked if I needed something.The food was sooo yummy. We had Shak-shuka , hash browns, and house made biscuits (which were to-die-for).The atmosphere is so cozy and vibrant. I love the black couch and the mirror gallery wall.Can't wait to go again.

I wanted to go here for brunch as I read so many good reviews. I decided to try their dinner. The salmon was a little over cooked and dry the spinach & wild rice lacked flavor and didnt agree with my palate. Im still willing to give this place a try for brunch but I won't be back for dinner.
