Good pizza (little too much time in the oven for me, but far and away the best sauce in Astoria) and solid selection of reasonably priced cured meats/salumi and cheeses.

Dear rosario’sYou’re doing great. Dont change anything off of feedback. Theres a reason we like your pizza.Do not listen to the transplants. If they dont like their pizza crispy. They should go to little Caesars.

I like this place so I hate to leave this review but it's the 2nd time I order a sandwich and they can't get it right. A $12 sandwich that I order that ends up costing me $25 because I have my kid sleeping. This has now cost me $50 in a wrong order, they don't pay attention they talk to much to each so they can't focus, and too slow, I've been ordering from here for years but no more, it's too costly of mistakes and too annoying. Never again.

Nice little shop! Reasonable prices on goods. My husband and I stopped in for a slice and sandwich for lunch to take home. When I tell you this is probably some of the best pizza in the city- believe it. We opted for a pepperoni slice, that's usually a good baseline. The crust, cheese to sauce ratio, and pepperoni placement was absolute perfection. The sandwich was packed, fresh arugula, meat perfectly sliced, and the bread and cheese- every bite was just as good as the last and we were sad when it was over.Service was great, friendly. This place has a real hometown vibe to it, and I love it. Will definitely be back in the future.

Looking for great pizza in Astoria?Hidden in the back of this Italian Grocery Store (which has amazing chicken cutlets, fresh mozzarella and sandwiches) you will see why so many people are walking to the back of the store all day long. Thin crust with a delicious sauce makes you crave more!!! #hollyspizzahotspotsofnyc

Such a wonderful experience. Pizza is out of this world, from the regular , Sicilian down to the meat rice balls with cheese. Just awesome all around. Customer service is very warm. Everyone is happy and welcoming. Keep this legacy alive as there are not to many left in nyc. All the best guys.

The food is very good. And the atmosphere is authentic. The customers are all locals and have been coming to this place for years.I liked the taste and the prices as well. :)

Best pizza in astoria at least around the ditmars area. I’ve tried so many and wasn’t happy until stumbled upon Rosario’s. The pizza is thin, the sauce is amazing it’s so tasty and they use fresh mozzarella. Everything is superb quality. Love it! It’s my go to place for pizza. I’ll never order any where else.

Excellent Italian mama and papa store with lot of European products from cookies, coffee, pastas, meats! They have in-house pizzeria, too. Lot of Italian coffee brands that are famous like illy, Lavazza, Gimbo, etc etc. Pizza is very very good, fresh homemade sauce and breading. Fresh deli section with all kinds of meats and looks like a homemade mozzarella!!! On the last stop of N or Q line Ditmars Blvd. Highly recommended ? ??

This hidden gem is the best pizza in Astoria hands down. If you’re looking for a NYC pizza experience head into this Italian market for the perfect slice.

This is a problem. I can never look at pizza the same again. I literally booked a flight from California for three weeks later, after coming home from New York, to have more slices of Rosario’s pizza. I nearly cried when I had my first bite. And to those saying it’s too crispy - go eat somewhere else, and don’t ruin it for the rest of us.. or grow some taste buds. This is how the lord intended pizza to be made. I’m kicking myself for having been going to that other dumb place with the red writing all these years - never again. The arancini (rice balls) were to die for as well. Rosario’s lovely, super sweet and super welcoming daughter, who was skillfully baking and serving the pies during my visit, made the whole experience even more pleasant. The grocery selection was very special and had many hard to find Italian items. The fridge had 4 different brands of my favorite Italian soda flavor, which I have trouble finding even one of. This upcoming visit I will definitely be getting a sandwich to pack for my return flight. Truly one of the wonders of America which should never be taken for granted. Thank you, Rosario’s, for existing.

Bunch of disgusting people who shouldn't be allowed to operate a business especially with the facade of being "friendly"
