“WE had a party of 6 and we made a reservation for 7:30pm and we were promptly seated. Our waitress was wonderful and on point- not too intrusive, but very attentive. Choices to order ala carte or a 4 course meal, and our party did both. Food was excellent, perfect temperature and a good amount of food.”

“Stopped here for breakfast while visiting Cayuga Lake and it was really good. I like to try hole in the wall places like this and it didn't disappoint. I got 3 eggs with meat and corned beef hash. The food was cooked to order and everything was fresh. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. Service was friendly and efficient.”

“This marked our 10th and final stop together, a brewery I had been eager to visit during our trip to the Finger Lakes. I'm delighted that we managed to include it on our itinerary on the very first full day of our exploration. Upon arrival, we found ourselves in what appeared to be a spacious garage. Inside, we were greeted by a decently sized area. We opted for a flight of beers to sample. Among them, the Peanut Butter Stout stood out to me as particularly enjoyable. Additionally, the Hazy IPA left a lasting impression, while my wife relished a delightful Strawberry Kölsch. However, it was the Peanut Butter Stout that truly captured my taste buds--I dare say it's the best stout I've ever had, despite not typically being a stout enthusiast. Naturally, I couldn't resist purchasing a 4-pack to take home with me. Our timing couldn't have been better; we arrived when the atmosphere was serene and tranquil. Without a doubt, this brewery ranked as the highlight of our Finger Lakes brewery tour thus far. Considering we've explored around 10 different breweries during our trip, that's certainly saying something.”

“My husband and I relocated from the city about a year ago and have truly been embracing wine country. We’ve been to some really amazing wineries but this one goes to the top of the list! We went for a tasting yesterday and had a wonderful time. The staff are so lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable. Our favorite staff member was Ham, resident canine who was beyond adorable. The wine is top of the line. I can honestly say there was not one we didn’t love and left with 20 bottles. But I would recommend not leaving without their Sparkling Brut and Ruby Port. We enjoyed delicious bread and cheese with our tasting as well as a basket of French fries that were the best I’ve ever had. It’s clear these people know how to do it right. We will definitely be returning. This winery was referred to us by our neighbors who go there for a monthly dinner they offer and rave about so we will be trying that as well. Like I said they do it right!!”

“I wish they were open during winter! There's something about how they make their ice cream that is quite special. One must be the quality of dairy and ingredients they use. They don't put in excessive sugar; you can taste the underlying flavors of the ingredients. They had a massive flavor menu. It rotates, seasonally. What am I partial to? Ginger, Lavender, Strawberry, Jalepeno Popper, Cinnamon, Gianduia, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Apple Spice, Rum Raisin, Tiramisu, Eggnog. You can ask them to pack pints for you to take home. But there's a possibility you might just eat it all in one go. Their parking lot was still gravel the last time I was there. There is some seating both inside and outside.”

“We stopped at New Dragon cuisine because we were staying outside of Ovid New York for the week. My wife got the shrimp with lobster sauce and I enjoyed shrimp with garlic sauce. Both the dishes were superb. My wife got a egg roll which was top rated and compared with Chen Gardens in Rochester. I enjoyed the hot and sour soup with my lunch. A worthwhile stop and very nice people there.”

“My husband and I did not get a tasting flight because we arrived after 5:00, but we received a complimentary taste in a shared glass of two wines and bought a cold bottle for our evening sip. The vibe is modern. The wine is authentic and the service was very accommodating.”

“I have to update my previous review from 5 years agoNot sure if there are new owners from the Pizza to the sandwiches everything has improved drastically I have ordered multiple times and everything is always excellent unless I make my own dough most pizza in this area is terrible I am very happy they know how to make quality food and the delivery is always on time and follow directions thanks Italian Kitchen”

“Great selection of NYS products to sample. Loved sampling the different varieties of mushroom vodka...yes indeed they carry a selection of MUSHROOM based vodkas, great for a Bloody Mary or Meaty Martini. They have wines, ciders, beers and spirits to sample so there's a little something for everyone. Jay, one of the owners, is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. The inside of the building is amazing. ( not your typical firehouse of the 50s ) They can also host private events, so ask about renting space for bachelor parties, retirement parties etc. ;)”

“A great visit today at Cayuga Ridge Winery. Bobby was our host and she gave us a wealth of information and sharing on the viticultures, history of grapes in the area, and a great life she has lived so far. Interesting offerings for this season. We will stop back on the next wine trip.”

“It's nice for a change to be able to taste wines that aren't full of complexity. I chose the varieties that would give me more of the Concord grape flavor and am happy to say they had many. Their back deck overlooking their pond is so enjoyable. Also our visit by a very talkative pony was quite t he treat. Jamie took exceptional care and had the patience of a Saint. We've put this wine out at Halloween for the parents that accompany the children and it's been a hit. So we returned to restock for this year. Not a over the top fussy or fancy winery, but definitely friendly staff and great ?.”

“The king ferry pizza is your standard pizza place with standard prices, but the pizza is surprisingly good considering it's one of only a few restaurants in the area. I'd definitely recommend it!”

“We did the Bacon on the Laken Tour. The tour offered 10 wineries over two days centered around Cayuga Lake. Each vineyard created an original bacon recipe paired with Vineyard wine along with 3 more wine tastings of your choice. We ended our first day at Lucas Vineyards. The pairing was Piggy Candy & Tug Boat Red.Simply delicious ? We would highly recommend the tour but sells out fast.”

“The pizza was ridiculously good. Had the old world with the recommended hot honey drizzle and it might be my new favorite! If I had one request though, some metal knives and forks would make it easier to cut up my kids slices. Friendly staff and everything was clean and well maintained.”
