“Great view of Cayuga Lake, laid back atmosphere. Awesome beer selection, fun flights too. Went for pizza and wings tonite, both excellent! Pizza was fresh tasting, excellent sauce, wings were actually crunchy and so so good! Love this place!”
“I ordered Christmas Eve dinners from Cookie and they were amazing! The turkey was the most flavorful turkey I have ever eaten. We will definitely order from Simply Cookie again ❤️!”
“The king ferry pizza is your standard pizza place with standard prices, but the pizza is surprisingly good considering it's one of only a few restaurants in the area. I'd definitely recommend it!”
“Our family loves Trimmers ice cream and hotdogs. It's a great laid back place with nice grounds and picnic tables. The assortment is great, the owners hands on and staff super friendly. Our favorite stop for ice cream!”
“Absolutely fantastic food at great prices. I’ve never had anything off the menu that I didn’t like. They are striking a unique balance between sophisticated farm-to-table food at diner prices and classic Americana staples that scratch all the itches while still using local ingredients. Every detail of their food, down to excellent local hot sauce and freshly ground pepper and sock salt on the tables, is thoughtful without any degree of snobbery. The space is casual and comfortable and has the feeling of a place you want to become your “spot.””
“I spent an afternoon at Finger Lakes Cider House and had wonderful time. As I walked in I was greeted by a lovely lady who made me feel welcomed and explained all the food and drink options for me. I sat outside and enjoyed the views of the cidery and nearby lake while enjoying a house flight of cider, warmed almonds, and olives. I don't typically like sweet drinks but this flight was exactly to my liking. The sweet ciders were not too sweet but instead had so much flavor. They all paired nicely with the salty almonds and olives. I wanted to purchase a bottle and the staff kindly recommended me a cider and even let me taste a sample before I made a commitment. I will definitely be back, I had the best experience.”
“One of the best restaurants in the fingerlakes! The THC is a legendary sandwich, Kimchi Panini is out of this world! That said, literally everything I've tried on the menu is excellent. DO NOT miss this spot on a visit to Trumansburg or the FLX!”
“Stopped here for breakfast while visiting Cayuga Lake and it was really good. I like to try hole in the wall places like this and it didn't disappoint. I got 3 eggs with meat and corned beef hash. The food was cooked to order and everything was fresh. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. Service was friendly and efficient.”
“I ordered a dozen cupcakes: red velvet with cream cheese frosting and chocolate with peanut butter frosting. Working with Emoticakes was easy from. requesting to pick up.They were delicious! The frosting on both were smooth and had the right sweetness. I'm somebody who has to take off half the frosting usually but this frosting was too delicious to even consider getting rid of it. The red velvet was a little dry but the frosting made up for that.I'm not usually a chocolate person (my partner is though) but this chocolate cupcake was so moist and tasty. The peanut butter frosting complimented it perfectly.I loved the cupcakes and hope I receive them in the future!”
“We were in town for 3 days and came to Gimme! Coffee everyday! What an awesome coffee shop! Great service, coffee, and morning muffin. Yum! Would return in a heartbeat!!!”
“Update: Under new ownership. "Let the Kitchen Decide" is no longer an option. They are a different restaurant under the same name. Service is still wonderful. I do recommend a reservation. Making one on the website was easy. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The price last night for an appetizer, two entrees, dessert, and 3 alcoholic drinks was $140. It might be pricier than some restaurants, but it's very much worth it. The portions were large enough that we both took about 33% of our entrees home. The food is on another level. Many complex flavors that don't overpower the dish; and unique ingredients in a novel presentation. All of the ingredients are sourced locally, as well. This will continue to be a favorite restaurant for us. Bumped 1 Star off the atmosphere, because it was a little loud. That's likely because there were so many people celebrating birthdays. I think they said 10 or 11 of the tables had them. Also, they don't do Specials because the menu is updated daily!”
“With how busy this place was, our food came out pretty quick and it was honestly all very good. My only (very) small complaint about the food was my burgers bottom bun was a bit soggy from the juicy burger patty. Service from our waitress was good. The people at the front desk were a bit scattered. My biggest complaint from the overall experience was the bowling lanes didn’t offer computerized score keeping. To me, a key part of bowling is the competitiveness. If you want to keep score, you’re given a pen and paper… how can you possibly track pins when you can’t see if a pin is up behind a front pin? Hopefully they get with the times on that eventually. Aside from this, the overall experience was great and again, the food was surprisingly great. Definitely worth checking out.”
“Very pleasant atmosphere. Delicious breakfast burrito and can get GF tortilla. Good coffee but don't stop there...try their freshly made chocolates. Good service. Always have great soups! and very helpful staff. see ya there!!”
“Great service and delicious food. It was fun to see everyone talking and they even have a dart board. The fried haddock was perfectly done and the French dip was good. Horseradish aioli is not to be skipped! Nicely done apple crisp, creamy rich cheesecake, and great flavor to the carrot cake. You can even buy a bottle of wine to go which is perfect if you are staying in the hotel.”
“Went out for a fun day and ended here. Not only was the wine fantastic but I will have to say Russ was the best part of my day! It was tons of fun and if you are looking for good wine and a good time stop on in! ?”
“GREAT vibes, lovely staff, my friends enjoyed their drinks and flights very much. The food was underwhelming (pork carnitas didn’t have much flavor) but I would go back and try something else. The fries were delicious!”
“Our server was SO courteous, professional and patient. He actually waited to talk to us and didn't interrupt our family conversation. It was incredibly kind and we will always remember this level of service....wish other wait staff in other restaurants did this.”
“Our favorite local spot in Lansing! There is no such thing as a stranger when you come to Crossroads, everyone is family. The food is outstanding, service is prompt, atmosphere is warm and inviting.”
“Cozy atmosphere! I loved the artichoke and spinach pizza. It was very tasty. My friends love the honey pepperoni pizza! Friendly service. Reasonable prices for both the food and drinks.”
“Fantastic people and good food! Mike Dugan creates a welcoming atmosphere and his restaurant serves some wonderful country cooking. We loved stopping by here while we were in town!”
“I miss this place, one of the best pizzas on Earth. I miss it. I'm originally from NJ across the river from Staten Island, NY. This is in my pizza. Top Five I currently reside in Ohio.... pizza sucks here, although most upstate pie sucks too!! The best way to get a pie here is well done or have them reheat the slice cause I've had this pizza many times as just slice and 3 times as a whole pie and everytime the whole pie didn't have a good bottom crisp!! So ask for an extra long bake.”
“I'd call this place a positive experience. For one, it's a beautiful and welcoming place. The staff is friendly, attentive, and informative. Their wines are dry by natural, so that almost gave me pause because I like sweet wines primarily. The smoothness of most of the wines really surprised me though. My husband and I ended up taking a few home too! We've got a lot more wineries to visit among the Finger Lakes, but this is one to keep on the list to revisit.”
“Looks like not much of anything from the outside, but the food is great. The first calzone I had there was crispy and unmatched by any I have ever had before. Excellent marinara to the side. The second calzone was slightly softer, but still great and probably caused by sitting while I drove to my husband. The falafels are spectacular. Some of the best I have ever had. The chicken and beef gyros were also excellent. Worth multiple visits to try everything! My only regret is that we couldn't stay in town long enough for me to order a pizza from them.”
“Absolutely the best laid back time around!! Service with a smile, and great conversation!!! Don't drive by it!!Until the next drink,Ryan WoodTanner's Bar & GrillAthens, Pa”
“I wish they were open during winter! There's something about how they make their ice cream that is quite special. One must be the quality of dairy and ingredients they use. They don't put in excessive sugar; you can taste the underlying flavors of the ingredients. They had a massive flavor menu. It rotates, seasonally. What am I partial to? Ginger, Lavender, Strawberry, Jalepeno Popper, Cinnamon, Gianduia, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Apple Spice, Rum Raisin, Tiramisu, Eggnog. You can ask them to pack pints for you to take home. But there's a possibility you might just eat it all in one go. Their parking lot was still gravel the last time I was there. There is some seating both inside and outside.”
“I always come here when family visits. They have good coffee, fine service and a nice menu. I first ate here about 30 years ago. It constantly improves while staying the same where it counts.”
“We happened to be in town after a really really rough week and decided to grab dinner. This was FANTASTIC!! Not only was it fresh and delicious..there were enough vegetables in our entrees we felt that we were treating ourselves and our bodies well. Thank you!!”
“Food was great! Had to ask for more water. Ordered drinks with dessert. Dessert came, bar was backed up. Tried to wait but it was melting. On last bites when drinks finally arrived.”
“My husband and I did not get a tasting flight because we arrived after 5:00, but we received a complimentary taste in a shared glass of two wines and bought a cold bottle for our evening sip. The vibe is modern. The wine is authentic and the service was very accommodating.”

“What a fabulous winery! We loved visiting here on a Friday afternoon. We enjoyed all of their wines, including whites, reds, and bubbly wines! Matthew was the best wine educator, giving us a great description of each wine so we could better enjoy it. Cheers to this winery!”
