“Perhaps this is the western-most Stewart's? For those unfamiliar, they're a convenience store chain (not related to Stewart's burgers & root beer) with roots around Saratoga, NY and a reach going from as far south as the fringes of the NYC metro area in Orange County, north to the Canadian/Quebec borderlands, to Bennington and Rutland counties in Vermont. While they aren't the dominant c-store player here in Central New York (anecdotally that seems to be Byrne Dairy and...I won't hazard a guess on others), a full-size Stewart's will offer "fresh" hot food, cold sandwiches, pizza, and they have an ice cream/milkshake counter where they'll make what you want to order. Unfortunately, Stewart's express lacks the latter. The only ice cream here is sold to-go in pints or half gallons. To their credit, their half gallon is still a true half gallon, and it's in the old school cardboard square containers with the paper on top that you peel off. How nostalgia evoking... For a scaled down Stewart's, they had 2 or 3 booth-like tables at which to sit. Plenty of beer, cider & trendy hard seltzer is available in their fridge and their "beer cave." That's just their term for a walk in fridge, but it's a nice way to cool down on a 95 degree day like today. They have pizza, although I haven't tried it. The deal seems to be 2 slices and a drink for $5. Not bad. You can literally pick your poison because they also have... gas station hot dogs! I haven't eaten ones from this Stewart's, but I have at others over in the capital region and live to tell the tale. There are several gas pumps selling petrol, and the price seems average for the area. Why 4 stars and not 5? Obviously the lack of fresh ice cream/shakes is a big negative. Additionally, they don't offer the option of cash back when you check out. I was pointed to an ATM where the fee is $2.75! Complete rip off and a cheap money grab if you ask me. I expect that at a bodega somewhere, not Stewart's out here. Check out Stewart's if you've never been to one. It won't change your life, but you can buy what you need (and what you don't need!) and proceed in and out quickly. Just watch the one-way exit and people that run the light at the intersection as you exit. I blared my horn like I was downstate or back in Jersey, but spared them the unofficial state bird...“

“The food is always good as prices fair, however I'm writing this review because of the staff tonight. The two girls working here tonight were absolutely fantastic. Great people to chat with while making my sub and my weird choices. They helped me "vote" for what to put on it and in the end... zero regrets. Great experience after a long rough day. 12/18/18 4pm“

“Figured I would pick up a few subs for dinner for my family. Everything was fresh and delicious as far as subway standards go. The place was pretty busy compared to how I usually see it. Probably 6 groups of people waiting in line ahead of me to order. The worker making the subs was a little slow but very polite. I was in no rush so it didn't matter. I like Subway because they sre relaly good about changing gloves and making sure my sandwich isn't cross contaminated with anything else as I have food allergies so I always appreciate it.“

“I give it 1 star shy of 5 due to the price. 5 cents shy of $5. for a hotdog! ??‍♂️ That's crazy. But they are good. I'm a truck driver out of Virginia, and I first tried this place back in July of last year (2023) after some random people I was talking to at a local diner recommended trying this place. I think I was told this was the oldest eatery in town or something like that. So this is my 2nd time eating here. I got the Snappy dog and Frank dog. The snappy has a slightly distinct taste compared to the traditional frank dog. Both dogs (w/ chili & onion) are pretty good. I just think they're overpriced compared to what I'm used to back home. Not a fan of the fries, but I do like the baked beans. I'll try the onion rings next time I'm passing thru.Sadly, they don't have 18-wheeler parking, but if you're bobtail, they can accommodate.“

“Historically, the food has always been great as far as fast food goes, but it used to be the expensive option. But with rising costs everywhere else, our lunch cost us about the same amount we recently l paid at Wendy's and McD's. Both of which we only ate at because they were historically the inexpensive option, but this is no longer true. Both were overpriced. 5Guys is still the best option for great tasting burgers, but if they keep the prices the way they are, then they are going to be the best option out there.“

“We came through the drive thru. They seemed busy, but knowing this our driver thought it was taking longer than normal. We did go the day after Thanksgiving and It was our first time going to Chick fil a. I ordered the spicy chicken breakfast sandwich and my wife ordered the sausage egg and cheese sandwich. It was good for a fast food restaurant. I would go again.“

Classic Italian Sandwich

“This was my first visit to Jersey Mike's since moving to Central New York from Las Vegas a few months ago.I often visited Jersey Mike's in Vegas and enjoyed their sandwiches each time.Since this location is new, I couldn't wait to go there. The restaurant is very large compared to the ones i visited in Vegas. It's very inviting. I ordered our usual ham and cheese sub. Mike's Way, no tomatoes. It was as tasty as they always are, but...... the top of the roll was very dry and hard. Either the roll was left out on the counter and was no longer fresh, or it was baked a bit too long. Rolls should be covered while on the racks, as there is nothing worse than stale rolls. Also, my wife found a hair in her sandwich. There is nothing that turns off a good sandwich or any other food than hair. It's time for the long haired people to wear hair nets or control their hair under their caps. No worry, I'll be back!!“
