“Eagle's Nest is an absolute gem! I was back home on Long Island for 2 days and was so lucky to attend an amazing Yelp event in Hicksville hosted by our stellar CM Jared at Kathi & Kabab. I wanted a smoothie but not just any gym juice bar wait for 25 minutes smoothie. Well, I can vouch after my 2 visits in 18 hours that the Eagle's Nest is the Best! I got the Chunky Monkey beaut on a Wednesday evening and the PB Chocolate( Reese's PB Cup OMG) when Mike the owner opened at 11 am on Thursday. I tasted the difference right away as my eyes got really big- quality ingredients, generous portions, really well blended, love the classy peanut butter streak along the length and breadth of the big cup, the taste - wow! So many great choices. Mike took his time making my sensational smoothie. The owner Mike is a lovable and fun person. He is a trained chef who ran a kitchen at a bowling alley in Brooklyn before opening this establishment 3 years ago. He is loads of fun to talk to! He wears all these gold chains and bracelets which add to his great personality and the fun menu. I made a friend as I enjoyed my drink. Carol , a regular came in while doing laundry next door and got the honey mustard turkey wrap. She was raving about it so I got one too. Love Love Love!!! You have to go to Eagle's Nest! It is just north of the Bethpage RR station in the King Kullen shopping center. 12 minutes from Hicksville, 14 minutes from Copiague and 20 minutes south of Old Brookville. Open 7 days 11-7 M to Sat and 11-3 on Sundays. Loads of parking. I can't wait to go back, hang out with the fun Mike and experience some more of his amazing delicacies and delicious and wholesome smoothies.“

“Ordered for pickup. Quick and easy. First time trying the green bowl and it was surprisingly tasty. The green bowl makes me feel like I'm eating a healthier version of an açaí bowl. Nothing else to say besides it being a tasty açaí bowl. Price is fair. Granola is tasty. Love the new location. Will be back!“

“Went with my family of 5 (included 3 elementary aged kids) and there was a drink for everyone. There were so many options of different drinks and teas. The owners were so kind, patient, and accommodating. Gave us a free sample of new drink and a free chocolate crepe for Mother’s Day. I am definitely going back!!“

“Lots of fun visiting this location with my family. The café team was very nice and understanding as we were with a 6-year-old and 4-year old. They helped introduce the kids to the cats, even putting out treats so the cats would come out by them. After it was time to visit the cats we were able to enjoy the food and drinks from the café. Lots of fun to get my coffee while in support of a business helping animals in need.“

“Kerber's is an adorable, idyllic farm stand in the middle of Huntington. Everything I've ever had from there is delicious! The eggs on a biscuit is delightful as is or even more decadent with cheese and bacon added. The carrot farm muffin blew me away! (I am admittedly a huge carrot muffin fan). I have always been helped relatively quickly and the food comes out in a timely manner. I recommend to locals or visitors! I look forward to trying a class there at some point“

“Stopped here while I was in town for a work function and needed a sweet treat but wanted something that was local. The slightly older lady with brown hair and glasses who was working was super friendly and welcoming. I tried a few different flavors, as I couldn't decide and wow!!.. they were all delicious. I landed on the sea salt caramel flavor as it was fantastic and so creamy. I got a small bowl of that at a good price with great service. Definitely worth the pit stop! Sorry, I forgot to take a photo since I ate the ice cream so quickly!!!“

“The food was amazing, I got the Texas Hold ‘em but with grilled chicken and they did an amazing job. They cook the chicken/bacon right in front of your eyes, plus the food tastes incredibly fresh. I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“

The coffee was so fresh and flavorful. It is a hidden gem of main street. Sneak around the corner for a coffee and treat on your next walk. Bring the kids to see the decorations. “I had the pleasure of joining my bestie today at Southdown. While she’s been there many times before today was my first but def not my last. I had the avocado toast which was the best I’ve ever had. “Cafe Bubbly is a wonderful little shop with friendly staff and the food is reasonably priced. There really isn't any atmosphere as it doesn't have any seating but their shop is well maintained and clean, which is conveniently located in the A Mart.“

“This spot is truly a hidden gem in the Westbury area. The essence of Nana's is that of an ice cream parlor and coffee shop with baked goods. However they also serve beer and cocktails alongside some quick eats such as burgers, and special menu items such as gumbo or shrimp & grits. On Wednesday evenings they have a fun Trivia Night which is free to join. Nana's is a slice of New Orleans hospitality in the middle of Nassau County.“

“Best coffee/coffee shop on LI by a long shot. There's not a single shop that comes even close. In fact, it's one of less than a handful of coffee shops/cafes on LI that even CARE about serving coffee. The coffee is expertly roasted(not a single bean over medium to be found, which is how its supposed to be) and the drinks are expertly crafted. One of the best lattes I've ever had. They constantly get new coffees in stock and get back favorites all the time. My wife and I get coffee delivered to our house upstate every couple of weeks. The food is great as well; the breakfast tacos and everything biscuit are awesome. You legitimately cannot find a better coffee shop on LI and will even have a hard time finding one this good in the city.“

“The only place in the area to go when you're craving Italian Gelato! Their gelato more closely resembles gelato I've had in Italy, compared to other places who do not specialize in this.The staff and owners are helpful. Even though there are a million signs saying "only two samples per person", they were kind enough to give us more samples for our kids when it wasn't busy. The area is not the best for me, but if it's convenient for you, I'd definitely check them out!“

“We dined at Snaps as a party of 7(1 child) the manager greeted us as we arrived and was very nice and attentive throughout our meal, our server Michael was great we waited for nothing as he was always by to check on us and was very educated on the menu and with recommendations....the food was amazing from the unbelievable truffle gnocchi appetizer to the array of burgers we shared each item was better than the last. The food here is far superior to anything I've had in RVC but also very approachable for anyone looking to eat out....thank you we will be back!!!!!“

I think there were no less than five large group birthday parties simultaneously and the restaurant was keeping everything going with expert ease and great customer service. Not to mention, the food was delicious. I didn't get to check out the bar but I could see it looked like a nice set up and a great place to watch a game with friends. It's easy to see why they have been around for so long. Great spot.“

“This is a great Panera location! The employees are always helpful and friendly. The light coffee here was excellent yesterday with a little sugar plus some half and half. The cashier also told me about my available free bagel and also the expiration date for it.Parking: If the lot behind Panera is full, you can drive across the street and park behind the Golden Dolphin restaurant.“
