“I came here last night with two of my friends and we were very impressed with the customer service here. I've always seen this place, but never stopped in but I've been craving authentic Italian food. We made reservations for 5:30p which was clutch because after 6:15p on a Saturday this place was packed! To start the customer service was phenomenal and I was impressed with how the waiters remember all the specials because there were so many. They also checked on our table often to see if there was anything we needed. Now for the food, they have a Flatbread that comes with a red sauce to start which is very appetizing. We got the fig salad which was perfect to start along with the steamed clams. For my entree I got the Ravioli and I'm glad I did. Overall this meal was so satisfying that of course I wanted more. Happy most of all with the service. Thanks for having us and thanks for an amazing 1st time experience at your restaurant. I'll definitely come back soon.Parking: Free after 7pm, the meter is 2hr street parking but we found a park pretty easily across the street around 520p on a Saturday. However the most comfortable I felt in the place was in the bathroom, it was the most spaceous place, there was room to breathe. If you're claustrophobic consider taking it to go. It's the kind of place where you stand on line to order they give you a number and you look for a place to sit. I personally would have been more comfortable eating in the car. With all that being said I'm glad I experienced it, next time I would just take it to go. Again I will say the food was good.“

“Years ago in Long Island City there used to be this eatery called Communitea I would go to just to get these raspberry hazelnut bars they sold. They were incredible! I’ve since moved up north, but recently came upon the bars through a local coffee shop. I found the company that makes them and was ECSTATIC to see they ship! “Slightly hard to write this review as I arrived a bit late to the meal. I went here months upon months ago. Not knowing that this was part of Dun Huang, I thought I went to the wrong restaurant but it turned out it was one and the same which was surprising. I was here with a group of nine others. As I arrived a bit late, the soup dumplings had already been there a while but they were still of very good quality. My favorite of the night was the Salted Egg Yolk & Shrimp Stir-Fried Rice Cakes. The texture of the rice cakes were perfect and the egg yolk complimented it well. I also liked the Dry Fried Shredded Eel & Chives. I also would have preferred them less shredded as I couldn't taste much of the eel texture but the sauce was nice and the blend with the chives added some good depth. The Fried Dough Twist Spicy Chicken or Laziji with Mahua was also surprisingly spicy for a restaurant which is primarily Shanghainese now so I guess they still have some influence from the old Dun Huang. I've had it before with these dough twists from the excellent Peppercorn Station and these rivaled that place even though the chicken there was a bit pricier but then again there was larger pieces of chicken in the latter. The Fish Fillets in Sour Cabbage Soup was also pretty solid as well as the Grilled Lamb Kebabs. You can essentially see Andie's review for the rest of my thoughts as they essentially reiterate hers. Yes it was too hot inside and as I was rushing to get there, I got warmer than most but oh well. Would go back but maybe go during the fall or winter if the AC isn't fixed yet. Mid 4“
“I visited this spot for the first time yesterday 3/7/2024 and was blown away by the fresh and delicious food I ordered and received. I had the jerk chicken bowl, tuna wrap and to top it off, a green leaf juice. Each item was very well portioned and made with fresh ingredients. “I had the Duck Pad See Ew now these noodles remind me of drunken noodle so if you like that then you will love this dish! The duck was succulent and crispy on the outside cooked to perfection wow! The food was tasty but not salty and greasy like other Thai places I have tried recently. The chef is top notch and knows what she is doing for real just the right balance of flavor and taste in every single bite. Next up I had the appetizer the main event the "Zaab" Spicy Chicken Wings. I've never had chicken wings with this particular flavor or seasoning before so this was new territory for me. No need to worry though as you're in good hands like All State with this chef she is no joke and has clearly put in her 10,000 hours and then some respectfully. It was a dry rub fried chicken wing with spicy chili flakes or chili powder rubbed underneath and/or on top of the wing itself which was fried and coated to perfection I was impressed thoroughly to say the least. This was the sleeper and highlight our orders. We also ordered last but not least the chicken pad Thai which was flavorful and the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place can't say it enough five stars is a minimum! By the way and oh yes please try the Thai Iced Tea and Coconut Water for good measure to wash down your meal.
