“The sandwiches were fine! But tje sauce, it's not the same as it used to! A multi grain bread, toasted. A big piece of chicken, not crumbled in pieces. Marinated in a rich tomato sauce and melted cheese on it.. the recipe was changed! We missed the old recipe...“

Egg and Cheese on a Roll

“I really do not understand the poor reviews and negativity. This place delivers on their promise of quick, convenient affordable food. the location is great for anyone between Hunters Point and the lower part of LIC and they offer "health food" option such as fresh juices, smoothies and salads at a much more reasonable price than the Instagram worthy cafes along Vernon Boulevard. Yes, there are limited options and less fresh ingredients than other places in the area, but this is reflected in the fair pricing. This is a true staple for times when I haven't gone grocery shopping and want something simple that I could easily make at home, but don't wants to :/. The staff are very nice, hardworking and carefully fulfill orders.“

This Chick Bakes Salad • $
47-47 31st Pl, Long Island City

“We got a chocolate bundt cake for my boyfriend who is both gluten and dairy intolerant. It completely exceeded my expectations!! What was surprising was it was not super sweet, and the texture was dense and moist. Totally delicious!!!! I will NOT wait for another birthday to get one again soon! And the brownies were fab, too. Very dense, sweeter than the bundt cake, so, perfect if that is your preference. The folks that work there are super nice, too.“

As you make your way to the main courses the Sea Bream Ssam is so tasty, if you’re in the mood go for the seared prawns or maybe even the Mushroom Uttapam. To finish off the night they have a nice selection of desserts like cashew baklava or the ganache cake is amazing with warm chocolate sauce, rose ice cream, and cardamom salt. “My partner and I came after a tough workout recently on a Saturday afternoon, as Revelie had been on our radar for a few months! The wait wasn't terribly long at 3:30 (we waited about 30 min outside, though it was cold). The food was tasty and good quality, I liked the chopped cheese the most. Fun diner feel too! There was a minor holdup to actually get the food, but definitely worth it once we actually got to try it. Would recommend!“

“Came to L'incontro for a casual lunch on a Saturday around 2p. Did not have a reservation and was immediately seated. I gotta say, the service was excellent! Many waiters were serving us and they were constantly checking if we needed something. They were refilling out waters all the time and it was just very polite. What was interesting is the "daily special menu", the waiter was standing their reading about the daily special for like at least 5 mins and we had to stop him from continuing. Either way, we got the bucatini cacio e pepe and it was very yummy. My husband got the veal and it was not the most photogenic dish, but tasted much better than it looked. We also got the octopus, which was soaked in balsamic, also very nice. Overall a very nice traditional Italian place.“

“Came here for a birthday dinner and absolutely loved it! Because we had a large group we did the pre-fixe menu and it comes with a tonnnn of food, all amazing! I wish I had taken more pictures but standouts include the cold sesame noodles, popcorn chicken, and lettuce wraps among others. The service was excellent and their drink selection is quite good! I wish I had tried some of the cocktails but I was also perfectly content with my glasses of orange wine. I would love to come back again and try out other items on the menu!“

“Ordered the spicy salmon ramen and takoyaki. The ramen was really good with a rich broth but it wasn't spicy at all and started to taste a bit salty at the end. I wouldn't recommend the takoyaki because the portions are very small with a single piece of octopus in it for 10 dollars. Otherwise a great experience! + the servers were super nice“
