We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. “I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. I had a wonderful time! Thank you Yiselle, Estrellita and shorty!!!”

We had the draft beer, esquites, tacos de Barbacoa, duck mole, and the pastry/hot chocolate dessert. Food was balanced and delicious. If I had to be critical for this restaurant to reach its peak success- I would say the mole did not come out as hot as it could have (was just slightly warm) and the tacos de barbacoa could have used more balancing and freshness to it. The service was okay however, when I tell the Muslim brother that rum raisin ice cream is haram because of the rum he acted all nonchalant about it. This is a halal restaurant no alcohol in all forms should not be allowed. Astaghfirullah to brother. The atmosphere was small people coming in and out there is no room to dine and enjoy the food so I glad I ordered to go.”

“We arrived at the restaurant and were seated by our host/waiter, Nick K. He was very attentive, went over the specials and gave his opinion to the best plates at the restaurant. He was very accommodating and told us that we can upgrade pastas and sauces with our meals. He started us off with warm Focaccia bread, I then ordered the veal parm. and mixed it with the Cacio e Pepe and a glass of Cabernet. My wife ordered the Bolognese with an Aperol Spritz. I had put in my reservation that we were celebrating my wife's birthday and Nick brought three desserts to the menu which was a nice touch. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be going back to try other delicious plates.”

“have been to all long island restaurants,and bronx locations. doherty enterprises is by far a great one. for some reson the hutch riv pkwy is far and above the best .think the gm s name is chris and he should be commended for training his staff. i have never had a server that wasnt excellent, always a smile and a welcome, must be due to his training or overview. bronx has slightly higher prices like app plate with samplers is 20. in long island but 25 in the bronx. in bronx everything is hot and freshly cooked in farmingville l it usually doesn t come out hot or barely warm so i d rather pay 25 in the bronx. Mgr Destiny at hutch riv pkwy always looks out for me and mom who is 97 yrs old. So i go to bronx location every time i can usually atleast once a week. in s carolina and florida i and new jersey near atlantic city was not as happy as in new york as they do not offer deals and never heard of golden app which is a discount for seniors,.. I am also a senior citizen so good prices and good food is important. I know good quality and services and let fridays know years ago that things were bad and bronx locations and long island are gone, mainly would wait 15 minutes atfridays to order a drink without ice and would get a drink with ice another 15 minutes later. “I came here regularly when the original owner George was in charge. Charming guy who stopped what he was doing to yell Hello to everyone who walked in. The food was regular diner food that he elevated. Huge portions and decent price. He retired or left and people who worked for him took over. I rarely go now. Food is decent but prices went up and portions are smaller. The servers are good and personable. Place seems to always be busy since there are several schools and offices in the area. Still decent but you don't get as much value for your money and no charm and personality from George.”

“The food was delicious. We had 2 churrascos. The calamari was nice! The drinks, great. This place really needs to promote better. We came at 4 when it opened and we were the only customers until like 5ish. It took a while before we saw our server but once he did, the service was good.

Encourage large groups during your less busy hours. You have an amazing space. I used to go here during the Jimmy's heydays.”

“have been to all long island restaurants,and bronx locations. doherty enterprises is by far a great one. for some reson the hutch riv pkwy is far and above the best .think the gm s name is chris and he should be commended for training his staff. i have never had a server that wasnt excellent, always a smile and a welcome, must be due to his training or overview. bronx has slightly higher prices like app plate with samplers is 20. in long island but 25 in the bronx. in bronx everything is hot and freshly cooked in farmingville l it usually doesn t come out hot or barely warm so i d rather pay 25 in the bronx. Mgr Destiny at hutch riv pkwy always looks out for me and mom who is 97 yrs old. So i go to bronx location every time i can usually atleast once a week. in s carolina and florida i and new jersey near atlantic city was not as happy as in new york as they do not offer deals and never heard of golden app which is a discount for seniors,.. I am also a senior citizen so good prices and good food is important. I know good quality and services and let fridays know years ago that things were bad and bronx locations and long island are gone, mainly would wait 15 minutes atfridays to order a drink without ice and would get a drink with ice another 15 minutes later. Thank you for keeping my mom and i happy all the time”

“We are visiting from Florida and wanted to try something different. This cute spot is so cute and so clean. The atmosphere is inviting and a positive vibe. We got two platters of chicken and lamb. After travelling all day, this dish hit the spot. It has a good blend of seasonings. The lamb was so tender and the combination with a little salad mixed on the side was a great combination. We were even greeted by Sam. He is one of the owners. He made sure we had a great experience!!!! We come to The Bronx yearly and this is a definite must visit for us!”

“I have been coming here for many years, the staff here is mostly Spanish Cooks people, Habibi counter staff, very polite and attentive, multiple items for drink and food selections, hot food done on the spot, a lot of candies, chips, sodas, juices, emergency items like toilet paper, diapers, they have a small deli area, but you can order smoothies and any type of salad cold or hot, it doesn't have no meat market or anything but a small selection of deli items. No Uber Eats here. ATM machine here. It's wheelchair accessible but it will be very tight and small space to travel once in the store, it's easier for a walker or a person with a cane. They speak English and Spanish. They have beer here. Accept EBT, debit and credit cards, and of course cash. You can also buy lighters, raw paper, Bongs, weed trays, Hooka items, some medicines, hot and cold coffee, hot chocolate and cappuccino. Fruit bowls, slices of cakes, etc.”
