I've heard a lot of good things about this place from friends and family. I asked for a Boston creme donut and was told/corrected that it was called differently, so I opted in for a regular one with a hole. When I got my stuff and brought it home no later than an hour, pastries as simple as the donuts I got were tough/stale. Coffee was standard. Maybe I caught them at a bad day and will give them the benefit of the doubt, but first impression was not great.
I’ve been going to this bakery for years. You can either order online for pickup or just go early. They usually have most flavors unless is a holiday. Parking is a little hard because of the area but usually they’re quick.

Excellent customer service, great tasting products, acessible Bronx location! Whether I've ordered a cake or walked-in for coffee and a breakfast sandwich, I've received consistent and attentive service. Regarding cakes, you can give them your vision (or not lol), or maybe a theme and preferred cake size, and they'll make you a delicious masterpiece to match it. Takes the anxiety out of cake ordering if you don't know what you want.
