I recommend this place, an exquisite flavor. I have been visiting this place for approximately 15 years and they continue with the same flavor and the best attention.
This restaurant used to be located more further down on westchester ave. It was called Monte de oro (gold mountain). I used to go there when I was a kid to a teenager. Then, it closed down. Thank god it relocated more up westchester ave. Under the name of el pabellon de oro (the flag of gold) It still had the same waiters & owner so I knew the food would be the same(delicious). It is a Chinese Spanish fusion. My go to dish is the steak w/ shrimp fried rice & plantano maduros(sweet plantains). Staff is ok. I like that the inside has a fish tank. It also has a lobster tank where you pick your own lobster. They had this in the old restaurant. The environment is just ok. I really came for the delicious food!!!

Been going to this restaurant for over 30 years! Love everything about this place even the outdated decor and bathroom.Kid-friendliness: Kids do not bother them and they are really cool about bringing extra plates for sharing. I’ve never had an issue.
BROILED FISH AND SHRIMPS.. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS ? AND AT A GOOD PRICE. ATTENTIVE AND FRIENDLY STAFF WITH A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT. THEY HAVE OTHER FOODS THAT WILL DEFINITELY HIT THE SPOT. GREAT PLACE TO EAT GOOD FOOD WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY.
