The food and service is great .the atmosphere as far as the settings , it's a small area . I guess since the pandemicTheir was no single seat for me to sit on but there was a bench I could have rest my plate on a table near by put found it more convenient to placed it on my lap..

There isn't anything like NY chinese food. Hood Chinese take out spots are plenty, but finding the great ones are far and few between. The Hong Kong Jackie is a stand out to us regulars who frequent the Hub. It reminds me of a Flatbush chinese spot around Newkirk that i haven't been to in years. The chicken wings and pfr will never let you down, the eggrolls are solid, chicken with broccoli consistently great, with the perfect ratio of sauce to rice. This place has been around for at least the past 12 years and always have a line. They deliver in the area, but are also available on uber eats. I've asked for a menu several times when they are coming for delivery, but they always forget. The menu has free items if you spend enough, i remember either a soda or egg roll if you spend 20, but also believe it might be a free General Tso's for over $45. Which is absolutely great crispy General Tso's. My favorite is the Sesame Chicken. Great hood food if you don't know where to go, and they stay open pretty late for this area where everything closes around 7.

This is only a takeout Chinese spot in the south Bronx but man was the food good. We got sesame chicken with pork fried rice, amazing! Crab ragoons, perfectly filled and fried. Chicken wings with fried plantains, hands down the best fried plantains in any Chinese spot I've been to, and egg rolls, which were also delicious. We called our order in and picked it up and the lady at the counter was nice when asking me what sauces I wanted and packing my order. We didn't have to wait much, the place is tiny so I suggest call and pick up instead. Also, keep in mind the establishment is cash only.
