Food is meh but customer service is bad i did a pick up order but it started raining so i asked if i can eat inside he gave me an excuse and said no and said the take out menu is different than the eat in one. I didn’t order a lunch special i got sushi something you can order sit in as well. Felt racially motivated will not be returning the sushi was very very bland and not cut properly.

As a New Yorker when someone suggests going out for Chinese you would normally assume, and rightfully so, that you'll end up ordering from a "hole in wall" fast food spot.Kai isn't that. It's a sit down place where you just enjoy your food in a peaceful atmosphere.The pricing was ok, but it was NYC so it was to be expected. The food however is worth the cost. Consider it something like take-out plus, Chinese food with a twist.And it is not just "Chinese" food, under the category of "Asian fusion" their menus are a little bit from the many color cultures of the East. Come for sushi, get some hot sake alongside it, with some wings and soup.It was a great place, relaxing, the music was tame and not in your face, and the staff seemed to have grown on us as time went by.Bring your family, or friends, or maybe just by yourself and have yourself some of that classic food we New York's associate as Asian.

We love Kai. Best drink to get is the “Thunder and Lightning” two of those and you’ll be feeling nice.Vegetarian options: There’s are meatless options available. Also, tell them you want your food prepared on surfaces that do not have meat.Kid-friendliness: There are booths and tables with chairs. It’s friendly in that the booths are available.

Very sweet and fresh food, we just love our experience every time we go. Excellent service. The traditional Japanese and Chinese desserts are to die for.Vegetarian options: My daughter is vegetarian and she never complains, she always has a great time and there are more then enough dishes to pick from.

Myself and a few others went to grab a bite after church. The food came and we started eating. In the midst of us talking and eating, someone went to pour water into their glass and there was a roach floating in the water. At that point we asked to speak to the manager. We expressed that we no longer wanted to eat there, as you can expect, we lost our appetite and just didn’t trust that our food would be roach free. The manager came and offered us 50% off and then doubled back and said the meal was free. You could clearly see he was upset that everyone’s meal at the table was free. We will never eat there again. Having any bug in your food or drink is nasty and not appetizing.
