We love Kai. Best drink to get is the “Thunder and Lightning” two of those and you’ll be feeling nice.Vegetarian options: There’s are meatless options available. Also, tell them you want your food prepared on surfaces that do not have meat.Kid-friendliness: There are booths and tables with chairs. It’s friendly in that the booths are available.
Very sweet and fresh food, we just love our experience every time we go. Excellent service. The traditional Japanese and Chinese desserts are to die for.Vegetarian options: My daughter is vegetarian and she never complains, she always has a great time and there are more then enough dishes to pick from.

As a New Yorker when someone suggests going out for Chinese you would normally assume, and rightfully so, that you'll end up ordering from a "hole in wall" fast food spot.Kai isn't that. It's a sit down place where you just enjoy your food in a peaceful atmosphere.The pricing was ok, but it was NYC so it was to be expected. The food however is worth the cost.
