Love all their products lox herring everything but last few times 3 to be exact and I buy a jar every week lid wasn’t cleaned before canning or overfilled herring in wine and its still good. Its why so unattractive.Please fix this

Really good lox, better than the ones you can find in grocery stores. Unfortunately, Fish Friday quality has suffered since pre-COVID. I think the issue is that the pre-packaged lox on Fridays is vacuum sealed, which meaningfully degrades the texture. Prior to COVID (when it was in-person), they would give it you fresh and unpackaged. Hope they go back to in-person Fish Fridays.

You can make a reservation online in advance and pick it up on Friday morning of the same week.Salmon, pate, and salmon roe, which are popular among Japanese people, are sold here.I think the price is also cheap.You can also find this product at a long-established supermarket in Manhattan, but it's about three times the price.Salmon roe is of the highest quality and has an irresistible bubble texture. It also contains quite a lot.The salmon is also excellent. I like grilled salmon, but I don't like raw salmon, and I think salmon in sushi is evil, but I love the salmon here.There is also a large amount of salmon.It may have been busier than usual because it was the day we went to pick it up and it was just before closing time, but the line was so long that you couldn't even see who was at the front.It took about an hour to pick up.(The staff was also taking pictures of the queue, so it might have been a particularly busy day.)This is a store that I would like to go to again, even if I have to wait to pick it up.When I stopped by Trader Joe's on the way home, the clerk saw the cardboard and said, ``I love the products here, too.'' It's delicious, isn't it? "They said. I think it's a popular store.2024.3.1I went to Acme Smoked Fish around 9 o'clock to buy salmon roe and salmon.On this day, there were few customers waiting and I got the items I had ordered right away.The taste is as delicious as ever.I will definitely repeat it again.

i bout some home stile herring it looks like you changed the ingriediens the fish yuse to be nice white but now its gery even the oiture on the botle is white but the herring the collour and taste is diferent

They get two stars because I eventually got my money back and they do make good products. Customer service borders on nonexistent. I placed an order for pick up on fish Friday. I got there a few minutes before my pick up time only to find a line over two blocks long for pickup. I was told by people who had picked up their order that it would take over an hour to get to the head of the line. I couldn’t wait that lo g and emailed requesting a refund. A few hours later I got an email offering a refund or pick up on the following Tuesday. Stupidly I went for that, but got no response to my email. When I went to pick up my order they didn’t have it and knew nothing about it. I again emailed requesting a refund. I received an email saying they would refund but it hasn’t hit my account yet.
The smoked fish here is unbelievable. I have tried numerous flavors of lox, all delicious. Truth is plain is my favorite. Whole whitefish is also unbeatable. For reference, a whole whitefish is around 70$ at Zabars and $20 here. Whitefish salad is great, a touch too salty for me but I still eat it obviously. Staff are very helpful as well.

The grocers, delis, bagel shops and restaurants source their smoked seafood from Acme. You're buying at the source at a rate similar to those establishments, leveling the field and smoothing the seas.Acme Fish Fridays allows you to weather inflation and high markups and you can splurge knowing it's not going to damage your budget.
