We stopped by on a Saturday night for an early dinner at 6pm and there was some seating available for walk-ins. Two of us shared one of the combinations platters - 2 for $50. It was large enough for two very hungry people or three people. They constantly replenished our table with injera and we also tried the honey wine, which tastes exactly like it sounds. Everything tasted great. Service was excellent, very attentive and kind. The ambiance is nice and homey.

Came here on a Saturday for a party of 2 around 5:30 PM. We were seated immediately. The ambience was very nice cozy and had very nice decorations. The staff were very nice and helped explain the menu to us. The staff were REALLY good with filling up our waters! For appetizer we ordered the vegetable sambusa and for the main course we ordered the meat combo. The sambusa was very delicious. It had a good texture, (flaky like a croissant) and the inside was very creamy, and had almost like an eggplant taste. For our main course (meat combo), I would say that out of all the choices given only the special tibs, and the Miser (lentils) were very delicious. They both had a good flavor and texture. Everything else was ok. The collard greens and split peas had no flavor, and the split peas were not cooked enough (they were still a little hard). The Dora wat (the chicken) and Tibs wat were in a dark sauce that had no balance with any other flavor. It almost tasted like they used a dark chipotle seasoning or smoked paprika. The lamb had too much of an earthy flavor, which made it hard to eat. The cheese given was good. It was almost like cottage cheese, but a little sweeter and the Injera bread is very delicious. We came to the conclusion that they don't give too much food and the injera is what fills you up but overall everything was tasty and we would go back and give it another try but just get other dishes.

Really good Ethiopian food! Excellent service! I just can't give 5 stars because of how expensive it is. Tough to stomach paying almost $30 per person just for food.

Such a wonderful place to visit and try a wide selection of great flavors. The combinations are a must, no matter what. The gomen was the best vegetarian collard greens ever had. They have a selection of imported beers, depending on the time. Service was peaceful and kind.

I was very disappointed! Be careful before you go as the waitress speaks poor English. She couldn't comprehend our questions! I personally asked her 3 times to make sure the food is not spicy. She ended up bringing us very spicy food! She never apologized. Then they started cooking other food to replace it and when it was finally ready the meat was as tough as rubber! Poor customer service!

Dinner the evening before leaving. Excellent cocktails to accompany Ethiopian vegetarian and meat dishes with particular, spicy and spicy flavours. An excellent use of vegetables and meat. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, ethnic and not devoid of elegance. The service is excellent and the value for money is definitely good.

So good. Went as a party of 3 on a monday, got the BK chicken combo platter. It was so, so good. Everything was very tasty and went so well with the (copious) injera. I didn't get anything to drink, but the cocktail list looked fun and there was a nice looking wine list.

Never had Ethiopian food and decided to check this place out for a first try. I will say I’m not a fan of the injera but the stewed lamb was nice and tinder, however didn’t like the sauce it was stewed in. The collard greens were great. We started with the vegetable sambusa, really good and the sauce was spicy. Great atmosphere; the waiter was very nice and attentive and checked on us plenty of times. The margarita was also really good and they use decent quality alcohol.

Very cute little space. Great food. Had the meat combo. It's more than enough food and shares easy and comes out to about $25 each. Don't get me started on the honey wine. Service was polite and down to business. Will come back.
