This is what authentic old school Italian is all about!! I don’t know what was better: the food or the owner, Louis. No frills, the food speaks for itself. The veal parmigiana was fantastic and the pizza is one of my top three in the city. If you like anchovies, get the pizza the way Louis recommends: anchovies, tomato sauce, garlic, no mozzarella. Visited from DC and had a great dinner here. We don’t really have these kind of old school Italian restaurants down our way so it was a real treat - delicious and reasonably priced food with laid back but friendly service. Was nice not to feel rushed and just be able to relax and enjoy the food and wine. It seemed like most of the other people who came in were regulars which also made us feel like it was a good authentic spot. Definitely a gem

Such an old school (in the best way) vibe. My Mom grew up in the neighborhood and I remember going there as a kid, then we moved away. Going back as an adult brought back such memories of going there as a kid! Still felt like going home 30+ years later!
