Pretty ironic name considering that this is probably the most overpriced and underwhelming burger I have ever had. Absolute ripoff

cool old place, food was pretty good but nothing wild, a bit expensive as portions were small.

I visited here around noon on a Monday and to my surprise, it wasn't busy at all. So service was fast. The atmosphere is very simple. I think there were about 7 or 8 tables. Small, but could still comfortably fit around 16 people.I think the food is about as close to In n Out as I have tasted anywhere outside of an In n Out. Everything tastes great. The special sauce is far and away the best I've had in NYC yet. The fries are really good and the onion rings are perfect. My only gripe is that I wish the burger was a little bigger for the price. It tasted fantastic, but it was smaller than what I was expecting for being around $10. Regardless, this is 100% a recommend for anyone in the mood for a good burger and fries.

Hours on google are incorrect. Don’t count on the posted hours if you’re in need of a meal.

All locations aren't created equal. I typically go to the location on Havemayer in Williamsburg when I'm in the neighborhood because the burgers are that good. Figured it would be the same or close at the Court Street location and was disappointed in the final product. What stood out about the Havemayer location sticks out here for the wrong reasons. You couldn't taste the freshness of the ingredients despite the patties being fresh out of the kitchen. The fries were also hard. They weren't stale, but they were either fried too hard (left in the fryer too long) or sitting under a lamp much longer than you typically would with this item.I can't recommend the Court Street location at all.

Great smashed burgers and American dinner interior. But the burger burned the roof of my mouth. That might be on me but I am an impatient eater.

NUTELLA MILKSHAKE WAS AWESOME. Food was good, the environment is like a vintage diner vibe and it was super chill.

Lettuce wrap burger was fine but I wish the patty was larger. Onion rings were burnt.

Never ordered from them again. I ordered a Cheeseburger with fries and ask politely for a Fanta instead of the Sprite. I received Sprite and the burger patty is as thin as the cheese slice, thinner then the onion slices! 20 dollars! Shame on you!

I just ordered a burger and onion rings and there was literally a staple in the batter of the onion rings. I tried calling and no one answered.

Exactly what I was looking for. A 'working man's' hamburger like I used to have in my youth with my parents in Ohio. Before McDonalds and Fast Food. A smashburger I guess you'd say. Blue Collar Burger is the perfect name for this place. Thin well done patties (get a double) with no chance of pink or red anywhere. Lettuce, tomato, pickle and packets of katsup is you like. I didn't try the 'sauce' and instead brought my ginormous bottle of yellow mustard. This was perfect. I'll be back despite the mile walk. Well worth it.

Cheeseburger, fries, and a milkshake delivered for $20. Not a bad deal! The fries were very crispy - such a nice crunch, especially for delivery. The burger was comparable to Shake Shack and Harlem Shake. Classic smash burger, can’t go wrong.
