My boyfriend and I were in here for Friday night happy hour. Staff were amazing and very kind, the vibe fancy and sexy but not pretentious at all. The bartender made me a Black Manhattan, off the menu, and it was so delicious and lovely. The hot toddy there was also very good. My new favorite bar!
I go here to chat with friends and overhear first dates who met on tinder. Some things I overheard:* Jack Kerouac is a genius author.- this is certain to make your date doomed because you're revealing that you're that you're pretentious yet only have the knowledge of a high school level English literature class* What kind of drinker are you? Agree with others, this definitely gives speak easy vibes, but is actually well sized. The drinks are certainly more craft, we had the dear Julius and the lazurus effect which were incredible. I also ordered the squash and pepper bruschetta which wasn’t a personal favorite, but want to go back to try the meat and cheese boards! The service was great, everyone was super friendly and were attentive. Would highly recommend coming here!
