I visited De Tandoori Knight on a Saturday 4/6/24. I was dining alone. The customer service was excellent. The restaurant was small but very clean and organized. The prices were excellent and the portions were great. I ordered Chicken Korma with Basmati rice, regular Naan bread and a Mango Lassi. The chicken was very tender, the sauce was creamy, delicious and not spicy. The Naan was good. I loved the Lassi. I had leftovers. I will definitely be returning. I am Puerto Rican and grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Growing up here there were no Indian restaurants. So happy to see more Indian restaurants now. I've been eating Indian food for about 20 years. To my Latinos try Indian food you might just love it. Not all dishes are Spicy. Visit this restaurant you may just love it like I did.

I’ve gotten take out form Tandoori Nights for the past year and it really hits the spot. So delicious. The chat is excellent and the tandoori chicken is always good never dry. The staff and owner and really nice which is the cherry on the top :)

Delicious, flavorful, and well-balanced lunch in a warm and inviting atmosphere - I tried the chana masala with poori as well as the masala chai. There is nothing better to warm you up and excite your tastebuds on a chilly afternoon in Williamsburg. I will definitely be going back soon.

I got there and asked for food to stay, instead they made it for me to go, i told him its to stay, he just said you can sit and eat it. Normally if its stay you would be given service.you would be provided with a plate and some spoon and given water i waited a little to see if i would be provided it but i had to ask for all of it. No service was given to me. Felt like they didnt want me to be there. Only ate the food cause money was spent, the service sucks. first and last time eating there for sure.

Lentil soup must try and I am not big fan of soups. All the curries are basic. But korma is tasty.

I'm "mayonnaise is spicy" white and this is one of the only spots in town where I can enjoy Indian food. The saag paneer and chicken tikka massala are my favourites. And very cheap too. Also they always put a little free extra in the bag when you order takeout. Good people.

Good masala chai. Passable chicken biryani and tawa lamb kabob. Annoyingly sweet chana saag, why in the world would you serve that to people sweet?Just add some green chilies or red sichuan peppers...and let the hipsters suffer lol, your competitor Atithi has done it to great effect. They'll come back for more, claim bogus street cred, post a reel about how they almost (didn't) die having Indian food in NYC, everybody wins!

I visited when it had just opened. I ordered fried salmon and spicy goat curry. The dishes with cilantro were so delicious, and the garlic naan was the most delicious naan I've ever had. It was nice to have a comfortable lunch with a friendly owner. A restaurant that gave me a good impression of Brooklyn.

I live around the corner so I decided to give it a whirl. I ordered my dish 7/10 spicy and there wasn’t even a lick of spice. They also didn’t put cheese on my naan which I paid extra for. The food was good but getting take out/restaurant is so expensive these days that you just want your order to be right and it wasn’t. Might give it another shot, but everything I ordered was a certain degree of wrong, unfortunately :(
