Dog Day has been an amazing addition to a great neighborhood that is low on good food options, especially in the quick and affordable category. Our family appreciates the vegetarian options here, where the veggie dog is not treated like an afterthought, but instead deserves top billing along it's other menu highlights. Awesome owners and staff, free arcade games while you wait, and killer used vinyl section - damn, it doesn't get much better than this!
I visited Dog Day Afternoon on a Tuesday around noon. We took Bug to Dog Day Afternoon to get a hotdog for his birthday. He enjoyed it very much.I got the Chicago dog, was pretty good-I don’t know how I feel about the tomatoes but the actual hot dog was really good.If you want a plain hotdog, order the kids one.
