This is maybe the best BBQ I have ever had. The ribs are my favorite, followed by the beans but it is all worth trying. Some of the best food in Brooklyn served by the friendliest guy on eastern parkway. Farai is the man!
So today I wanted some bbq and didn't feel like doing it myself. so we took a drive over to Eastern Parkway and Franklin. On the menu today was chicken, ribs, oxtail, collards, beans. I believe there were other sides but by the time my husband got moving and we got there beans and collards were left. Not that it was a problem because I wanted both! Best barbecue in NYC by a country mile. Ribs are tender, flavorful and have a nice crisp to them. The pulled pork is just as tender and sets a high bar for comfort food excellence. The sides tonight were collard greens and beans, both of which have a good level of spice/kick to them. Two mets and two sides is $25 and could easily feed two people.Fyim there's going to be a (long) wait, but it's well worth it!
