A describe-what-you-like cocktail bar is always a hit or miss. My description and cocktail didn’t match (I said ‘savory’ I got a tequila cucumber drink), so I’m taking off a star. Vibes were nice though! Cozy, dim, speakeasy, great for a date.

Amazing cocktails and ambiance!I’ve been to this bar several times and it never fails to impress me. The experience is very personable, your waiter/bartender will ask for preference on your drink and then will make the perfect cocktail for you. They never fail to make just what you have in mind. Love this bar!

A cool bar experience! A bit of a wait to get in, around 10mins for us. As others have mentioned, there's no menu and the bartender will ask you a few questions about your preferences to get an idea of what drink to mix for you. It was a pleasant surprise for my friends and I! We did 2 rounds.

Entered this spot on an anniversary with my girlfriend, both of us have been bartenders for 3+ years now. Surveyed the back bar and after being served an unbalanced version of a fernet and ginger cocktail, i was told a drink over 5 steps was “doing to much” (mind you I asked for .25 oz DOM and .25 oz cynar). There were 8 other people in the bar and the bartender was clearly too preoccupied to make something outside of a classic unless my friend and I pushed him to use the back bar to which we were frankly insulted. I thought this was a bar you could receive off menu amazingness. Classic cocktails available at any bar do not count in that department. Would not recommend.

One of the worst management I have ever encountered. The place had free tables and the man wanted us to wait outside for 20 minutes until someone came out. When asked about the empty tables, he tells us that he stops the entry of staff so that the bar service does not become saturated. In that case, hire more waiters or get a smaller place. They must be very leftover!!
Very disappointed to arrive in the bar and not let us in by this guy on the entrance, When there was a table for 4 ppl empty! When asked why, he told us they didn't have enough ppl on the bar to serve us...and asked us to wait in the cold for 15m!!! When he could us let us in and wait inside seated and warm! NOT A VERY NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Loved the ambience and unique experience this bar offers. Thankfully didn’t have to wait for long to get in and was happy with the service I received.Described my preference to the bard tender and she came up with well mixed and strong drinks. Had a lemon drop and then a drink that infused pineapples in it (can’t remover the name).Kinda feels like there’s an unofficial menu in the waiter’s head when you state your preference but it’s interesting to see what they churn out when you share your preference.

Fresh Kills had great vibes and drinks! The only downside was that we had to wait around 30 minutes, but if you go at the right time, you could just walk in without a wait. They don't have a menu, so we each told the staff what we like in drinks and almost all the drinks we got were very tasty. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.
