I would like to say that usually this place has the best bagels and wraps in the neighborhood. I’m only leaving this review because I got a BLT with cheese wrap but they seem to have forgot the L and T in BLT. So if you don’t want to throw money out the window, either watch them make your food or check it before leaving.

Good bagel spot. Cash only and usually there's a line, but worth it. Staff members continuously jump in to attend to customers, keeping the line moving. They have all the basics. A great for a grab-and-go breakfast.

First, I've been frequenting H & L for nearly a decade now. My apologies for not writing a review sooner. Pricing is extremely reasonable, sandwiches are delicious (and large!), bagels are the best in the city, and I'll die on that hill. All that AND the staff is absolutely incredible and fast, and the place is always packed. I also want to say that the turnover rate for staff seems to be damn-near zero (same staff this whole time), and that's got to say something awesome about the place and the team! Kudos! I will continue to give this place my money, and I'm sure they'll continue to deliver delicious food to my tastebuds Check it out if you haven't, you won't be disappointed.

I've never had an egg-everything bagel before and it was great! Fresh lox and good cream cheese. The employees are very kind and hard working people. Super pleasant to talk to! This is def one of the best bagels I've had in Brooklyn (and NYC generally). Oh and make sure you have cash!
