This place has been closed for over five months and will never reopen at this location. The building is currently for rent. Google will still not accept multiple edits to mark the place closed even with pictures. No need to post restaurant reviews at this point.

We like a lot eating out. Last night we came to this fine place which we didn’t know before. We had a delightful evening there with great dishes and an experienced crew and a talented cook. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall certainly return soon. We warmly recommend.

Drove by the other day and saw you were closed. My husband and I are so very upset. You guys were the BEST deli in Brooklyn !! Have been coming to you for so many years. Just so sad to see you go. Wishing you both much happiness in your next endeavors.

This Kosher deli has shut down permanently. The owners stated in an inteview with a local newspaper that they were unable to keep business running because they had been losing money ($4,500.00 a month for at least the last couple of years.

The food has always been good traditional kosher deli food. But unfortunately due to financial problems that started way before Covid-19 was declared a pandemic. As of Monday May 25, 2020 Jay & Lloyd's Deli has shut their doors for good. The closing of this long time staple of Avenue U in Sheepshead Bay is a sad blow to the community.

some of the best matzoh ball soup i've ever had

I gave two stars because the pastrami was savory, but for the price I felt the serving was extremely light. Add a couple of layers to your sandwich if you're going to charge $50.00 for two sandwiches and two soda's.

I have been eating at Jay and Lloyds Kosher Deli and Family Restaurant for many years. My mom and I love to eat their hot dogs, knishes, french fries and chicken soup with noodles. The service is excellent, the food is excellent and I always feel like I am home when I am eating there. Miss having a Jewish deli in Mayaguez Puerto Rico...Keep up the good work!!! Stay safe and well...

With the Corona Virus going around we are trying to help those that are open and serving. Had a huge overstuffed brisket that came with pickles and coleslaw. My treat was the sweet potatoe fries with their secret dip. Very good. Not giving a 5 because I didn't get an itemized bill and the fries didn't come hot. (- If you order for delivery there's a $2 charge and we gave a tip. 25% off for #coronatimes Support your local community. This was my 1st time and now it won't be my last.

This place never disappoints. They serve fresh food for reasonable rates, there are no long waits even when they are packed.

Jay & Lloyd's is more than just kosher deli - it's an experience. Everytime my husband and I go there, one of the owners checks on us (and sometimes has a very delicious sample with them!) The food and service can't be beat. We've catered two events with them and people have raved about the great food. They also never tried to upsell us and gave amazing advice on how much food to order, what kind, etc. I highly recommend Jay and Lloyd's, both for dine-in and for catering - you won't be disappointed.
