Failed experience at Roberta's, despite very good pizzas! For the pasta, the quantities are really small and the price is very high!!8 people showed up at the restaurant reception, the waiter told us there would be a 30-minute wait.In the end it was an hour of waiting and the waiter put us on two tables of 4 at both ends of the restaurant despite a table of 8 people remaining empty throughout lunch... supposedly it was reserved...

The pizza dough was good but was not as crispy as I thought New York pizza would be. Waiting is long without reservations but there are nice bars around to hang and wait. It is situated in an industrial area and the view was quite nice.

Sure, here's a shorter version:⸻Visited your pizzeria last Saturday with four adults and four kids, expecting a cozy meal. Despite available seating, a young manager Thomas denied us indoor seating, diminishing our experience. Adding to the frustration was a 40-minute wait for our pizzas. Disappointed by the unwelcoming service, which overshadowed the food quality.

Awful experience, when you order pizza and have to wait outside for an hour. No one said to us that we’ll have to wait for so long. Everyone got cold and disappointed. We saw that they had tables available inside, but the hostess didn’t let us in.Never again!

Pizzas are good, but in my opinion too expensive. Really a gentrify place for finance guys or wannabe. Staff is ok.

I ordered pizza for pickup from Roberta's pizzeria through the app on a Thursday night. The app estimated a 40-minute wait, but we ended up waiting for well over an hour in total. The staff didn't apologize or acknowledge the delay, which was disappointing. The pizzas were okay but not exceptional, especially considering Roberta's holds a bib gourmand mention and has good reviews. The margherita pizza was bland and dry, lacking flavor in the sauce and mozzarella. The "original" pizza was surprisingly spicy, with no mention of spiciness in the description. It had more flavor than the margherita but still wouldn't order it again. The "bee sting" pizza was good but nothing amazing.Overall, it seems that as Roberta's has expanded to several locations and started offering frozen pizzas, they may have lost some attention to detail, like properly and timely preparing the pizzas. While the dough was nice, the pies were not properly assembled, and the waiting time was too long.

I have not been to the Bushwick or Midtown locations, but the pizzas and salads are very good. Service is great and there is also a kid’s menu, which we found ok. One of our lunch places when we go to Domino’s park.

Amazing service and pizza. Loved the natural light and the views through the big windows as well! Not too expensive too.

All my friends who visited Brooklyn before me told me about Roberta’s so the expectations were definitely high…and I wasn’t disappointed! The best pizza I had during my entire stay in NYC. I got it delivered at the Other Half Brewing Company so I can’t speak about the place in itself but damn it was good, looking forward to coming back!

This review is for dinner. If you're familiar with the brand and wanting to try Roberta's, I would recommend going to the OG location versus this one. The menu is the same (I think), but the quality of the food is better at the other location. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. It's a decent neighborhood spot if you live within walking distance. It's also centrally located in Domino Park, so I imagine coming here in the spring/summer would be a plus. Restaurant is actually pretty spacious and could be good for groups. Very casual cozy ambiance and good service. I split the below between two people: -Little Gem Salad: not good. But I've had at their OG location and I enjoyed so I think something was off. Some of the lettuce was brown and wilted. Dressing was super watered down and had no flavor. -Cacio e Pepe: VERY peppery, but I enjoyed. Noodles cooked perfectly. Nice and creamy. -Bee Sting: (no photo) pizza style is thin and NOT crunchy. Perfect size to share with someone else. Has the right hint of heat and is saucy. Recommend.
