Absolutely worst service I've ever experienced in my entire life. I was heading over to a holiday celebration and wanted to buy a dozen donuts and I was met with the worst attitude I've ever experienced from anyone ever. First I walk in and ask for a dozen donuts, and asked to clarify where my options were and what's excluded which the man does. Then I request the fudge donut, and he didn't understand after I repeated 3 times I said the chocolate donut. I wasn't concerned at this point. Until he gave me five chocolate donuts. Then I kindly clarified I only wanted one. To which he replied "u said five. It's because u have those headphones in ". Now this didn't make much sense to me since I was the one speaking so my ears weren't necessary when I requested a chocolate donut. But regardless, I wasn't listening to anything. Then I continued requesting donuts and he rolled his eyes with every donut. When I asked how many I have left he "shoved the box in my face and said how many do u have. Count them" idk why he was so aggressive for no reason it was my first time in the area. Then I notice it's cash only so I said it's cash only do u have an atm and he lifted the sign that says cash only and shoved it on my face and said read it. Then rolled his eyes and looked at the other customer while pointing to the atm in the back. This was borderline harassment.

Good food at a good price, (I love the buy 1 get 1 free menue) But sometimes there coffee cups break during delivery & Uber Eats wont give refunds anymore even if I show photos of spilled drinks & ruined food. I asked the resteraunt to Please wrap the hot coffee cup with Saran wrap (Like most other responsible resteraunts do) in case the cup gets bumped during delivery it wont burst open & Ruin my food. The only remedy they came up with after my many complaints was they added a 2nd plastic lid to the soft paper cups. My issue was the Bottom of the cups were breaking during delivery but they Still wont wrap the coffee cups in Saran wrap to seal it Like Most other resteraunts do. I spent Thousands & thousands of dollars buying several meals per day from this resteraunt for 2 years & as a loyal customer I feel they should of adressed this issue correctly by now by purchasing Better Quality Cups instead of avoiding blame. They need to understand that some of the Uber Eats delivery people dont handle the food gently and dont care if it gets damaged. I ask them now to please fix this the right way & seal the cups with Saran wrap and/or buy better quality cups & learn from other resteraunts who dont have this issue! I ask if its worth losing my constant business over a $4.00 roll of Saran wrap? Being cheap never ends up good.

This is one of the oldest establishments on Avenue U . They have been there 50 years that I know of . Their donuts are okay . The coffee is probably the best coffee on Avenue u. Sometimes the staff can get a little grouchy but they're basically hard-working decent people . Every so often some crazy person comes in and it can be quite entertaining . The Establishment itself is a little rundown but it's okay . There is no place cheaper than this on Avenue U and the food is reasonable and good .

The best donuts in southern Brooklyn are right here at shaikh's. Omg the glazed or powdered crullers are ridiculously good. Other favorites include cinnamon, frosted with apple filling, and the cream tarrt/cakes. Give me a bakers dozen for the week and I will be covered in crumbs.

Don't know how to be patient, don't know, communicate with customers, make up his own prices, and judges people how they look, especially Middle easterns. I wouldn't first responders and family and friends to this place. I was next in line to order, but I had a quick question to ask so the guy in the glasses decided not to answer my question went to take care the next customer in line by the way you're a scumbag for that and decided to rush me and not answer my question. Donuts were terrible and hard to chew on must of been saved from yesterday. You'll never make it with your type of skills the way you treat customers. I hope dunkin' Donuts replaces your business.

I wish I could give them a -1 star review. What disgusting manners their workers have. I understand the owner honestly doesn't give a crap about customer service , as well as raving fans experience, since prices are so low and they're open 24 hours. But please, somebody needs to oversee things from time to time. Okay, here we go. Friday morning, I'm all excited stepping out of the car to put money in the meter, and the moment I'm putting my foot outside, I step on something soft and creamy, and my boot is gliding through some slippery surface of dog poop. Not a small dog, not even a Great Dane, but a dog the size of a horse. I don't want to go into more details since we're talking about a donut shop, not the cleanliness of the streets in Brooklyn. Luckily, the donut shop was right around the corner. I just want to mention that I come here pretty often, at least 3 times a week. What always disturbs me at the shop is that the owner/manager/register guy or the "I'm a big boss" man would never lift his eyes to acknowledge your presence with a simple smile or just a small question like "how may I help you?" which would be just enough to show that he cares. But instead, it's always "how many?" "How many?" What? How many donuts, or how many boxes, or how many coffees, or how many times I'm planning to come back this week to deal with your rudeness? So, as always, I was planning to buy 1 box of old-style jelly and cream donuts with sugar powder for my kids and their cousins, and a second box of assorted donuts to take to work. But this time, I asked for napkins prior to anything to wipe my shoe and was given one, literally one piece of tissue. When the second was dragged along, he separated them and only gave me one. So, I politely asked for more, since I not only didn't want the poop to smell in the shop but also didn't want to take that with me in the car. But he just ignored me and started to assist another customer. So, I waited and then asked once again for a few tissues to clean my shoe outside and received no response directed at me. That was the last interaction I ever had with this donut shop, through their most attentive and full of customer service experience employee of the year. See you...

Local donut place with cash only. Good for breakfast and very cheap. I got eggs and croissant, hot coffee and end up with ice lemonade. Some of the menu on the wall isn't available because they didn't update. The charm of local place is you can experience the style of the store, how true the person is, raw reaction etc.

I've been coming here since 1986 for the Cheap and fast breakfast platter, donuts and occasional grilled cheese to go. The negatives are: they're very dirty grade C terrible rude attitude from the tall guy w glasses. He acts like police or army sergeant insulting people under him. Only were not in army or jail. We're customers. I'm a good tipper and very polite. Why fight with customers all the time? If u hate your job or life get another job. Don't take your frustrations out on your customers. We have our own problems. Fresh donuts are good. Not 3 day old especially on weekends. They badly need a renovation, new stools, chairs, No menus. Walls are falling apart. They were definitely better in 1980s. I'm finally done with them. There are many better options
