This is one of the oldest establishments on Avenue U . They have been there 50 years that I know of . Their donuts are okay . The coffee is probably the best coffee on Avenue u. Sometimes the staff can get a little grouchy but they're basically hard-working decent people . Every so often some crazy person comes in and it can be quite entertaining . The best donuts in southern Brooklyn are right here at shaikh's. Omg the glazed or powdered crullers are ridiculously good. Other favorites include cinnamon, frosted with apple filling, and the cream tarrt/cakes. Give me a bakers dozen for the week and I will be covered in crumbs.

Good food at a good price, (I love the buy 1 get 1 free menue) But sometimes there coffee cups break during delivery & Uber Eats wont give refunds anymore even if I show photos of spilled drinks & ruined food. I asked the resteraunt to Please wrap the hot coffee cup with Saran wrap (Like most other responsible resteraunts do) in case the cup gets bumped during delivery it wont burst open & Ruin my food.
