Small, ill-marked bar with a great backyard seating area. I came here more than ten years ago and remembered an extensive Belgian beer list, but they appear to have pivoted somewhat in the interim. The tap list was good but not amazing, and the prices for cans and bottles were pretty high. With reset expectations I think I would really like it here, but I loved the old Belgian beer bar feel from times past.

Beer menu was a little lacking, very few options on the cheaper side. Still nice to grab a drink with a friend. Great outdoor seating area.

cute bar that i've passed by numerous times and finally had an occasion to try out. Had no idea but apparently on Wednesdays wine is half off so we split a bottle of the orange which came out to $30. They only have one orange on the menu but it was pretty good-- dry, wouldn't say its too full bodied, but has fruity notes to it. Bartender was nice and bathrooms were clean. The food seemed a tad overpriced for the ambiance in my opinion but definitely a good spot for a nice glass of wine and quieter/chill ambiance.

I can't tell you how many times I walked by this place thinking "this place just looks like a good spot"... but I can tell you that it most definitely is! Love the whole vibe going on here and how much they've dug in to the vermouths and amaros and tinned fishes and all of it. Backyard space was cute and the Negroni hit the spot. Will be back!

Spuyten Duyvil is an amazing location. It used to be my favorite bar in the area. That was before they sold one pint of beer for $13. Yes, $13 per pint! Never going back. Too bad because its a cool spot, but not worth it anymore. Totally overpriced.

Made a stop at Spuyten Duyvil on a rainy Saturday. A place that will only interest beer lovers, as the prices are high, but the quality is great.Quality: Some will look at Spuyten Duyvil as a pretentious beer bar, but I found it to be a great place where the owners clearly know what the like and fill the menu with it. Tons of unique beers from across the country and across the ocean fill the menu. During my visit I had the Jester King Bug Farm, an outrageously good farmhouse ale, as well as Val Dieu Grand Cru, a deep, dark, and heavy quad from Belgium.Quantity: Long menu with clear information about the sizes of pours.Value: $10-$20 for Draft Pours.Ambiance: Spuyten Duyvil is a beer bar located in Williamsburg. Inside it is a dark and moody space with a lot of wood. It has an old-world charm and on a wet day it had a damp smell, making you feel like you are in the cask. Inside there are seats at the bar, as well as some odd shaped tables with each chair belonging to a different set. They also have a large backyard patio, and it is easy to imagine it packed on a nicer day.Crowd: Only one other group on a rainy Saturday afternoon.Service: Friendly and knowledgable staff.Parking: Limited street parking in the area.

Single best beer in Williamsburg - do not sleep on the cream ale. Such a good spot!

Good selection of beers. Lots of European people. Fun neighborhood and good location in Williamsburg.

Quaint craft beer bar that's so unassuming from the outside, but chill vibes inside. Also has a cool backyard in the summer time!
